Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We wanted something easy as a option rather than steak and opted for a pizza. The building where Pizzica Pizza is located is somewhat strangely organised with lots of nooks and cranny’s. We ordered a Capricciosa and a Diavola followed by an excellent limoncello cake, all washed down with refreshing beer. The service was friendly, overall a nice location.

First visit to this restaurant after it was recommended for its pizza. Tasty and plentiful if a little doughy at the edges for my personal taste. Big plus was they don’t skimp on toppings, however in all my years of going to Italian restaurants, I’ve never been charged extra when asking for a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese. Being able to have a bit of Parmesan is like asking for salt and pepper.

Pizzeria with wood oven managed very well by a very nice Salento, courteous and professional. The pizzas are excellent, with a wide choice but that absolutely do not bend to the tastes of the area; indeed, they teach them what real pizzas are like. In addition to pizza appetizers, first courses and desserts, always "REALLY" Italian. Gluten free options are also worth mentioning The staff in the room is professional but very kind. Not excessive prices, with great value for money

We were a walk in sat at the counter. Friendly people . We ordered Wine of the week......after a 20 minute wait we learned no more Wine of the Week available as they couldn't find another bottle. Food came promptly. Very strong tomato flavour. The fish stew was tasty but the mussels were EMPTY. Presumably all in the bottom of the chefs pot. Cockles the same. One prawn. At $42 .... disappointing

Have eaten at Pizzaca many times. Sadly the game has changed over the years. The venue is still great but the ambiance has gone. The food is mediocre at best, my partners order was wrong, sent back and returned much later with the sme ingredients rehashed and reserved. My own order of mussels in soup was cold and I had to ask the server for an extra bowl for the shells along with a small finger bowl of water. The wine list is still fantastic but the menu is not as advertised and somewhat diminished. An old customer never to retsurn

We were so excited to try this cool and quirky restaurant for dinner with the kids. Unfortunately we were left disappointed. Judging from the reviews maybe we just ordered the wrong things? All 3 of our meals came out cold (chilli muscles, beef brisket and spinach’s and ricotta ravioli). The ravioli was like it had just come out of the fridge. Sent our food back without paying and left to take the kids else where. The staff were very apologetic. The olives and wine we had were great. Ambiance and staff were great and accommodating, so not all bad but definitely a big disappointment

We arrived before 6pm on Saturday to get a good table for our family of 3 adults and 3 kids. Ordered a pizza for adults and a kids pizza. Had the octopus and the chili mussels. Ended the meal with tiramisu. The pizza is the softer type but delicious. The food is good. The dessert is great too. The service staff are polite and friendly especially to the kids. By the time we ended the meal at plus, the restaurant was full.

We visited for dinner one evening during our stay in Margaret River and enjoyed tasty pizzas and deserts. Food and service both very good. We sat outside in the garden terrace section. Unfortunately I realised the next morning that I had left my rucksack under the table and it contained our passports, money and credit cards (eek!!!). The restaurant was shut until 5pm that day and so it promised to be a long, painful wait to see if they had found (and still had) the bag. We emailed the restaurant and thankfully the Manager emailed us back to reassure us that they had found the bag and it was safe. We returned that evening to collect the bag and had a few drinks at the bar - the staff were so lovely and helpful, and we are very grateful for the safe return of all our valuables. Celebrated by ordering another pizza!

I dropped in for a solo Tuesday dinner during a business trip. The place was heaving. The staff member who seated me was openly brand new and didn’t know a lot but was super friendly and enthusiastic. The atmosphere was upbeat and very cosy. I waited awhile for my drinks and pizza whilst I watched the staff trying to deliver to the correct tables. They were all very happy and laughing, so that covered up the chaos really well 😊. The pizza wasn’t what I like, I needed a knife and fork to eat it. Maybe I’m just old school? Prices were at the top end for both the pizza and drinks, but there were people walking the streets looking for an open restaurant so… come on in! Next time I’ll get a group together, book a nice table and stay for the evening.

Loved this place. It was recommended by the host of our accommodation and we always enjoy getting local recommendations. Quaint wooden cottage with stained glass windows and a large pizza oven My negroni was excellent and they have a good local wine list Pizzas were fabulous Great food, friendly staff and lovely atmosphere Highly recommend, book before as people were being turned away

Not a great experience. We understand that covid times/lack of staffing plays a part in this but this is where a business should adapt and not take in perhaps as many customers. We ordered mains and drinks at the same time. We had an evening table booked after 7pm. We waited 40 minutes at the table and one meal came out. No drinks yet. We waited another few minutes and no meals. We asked that the first meal be taken back to sit in the kitchen to keep warm. One meal was a kids mozzarella salami pizza. Bit harsh making a kid wait 50 mins for their dinner. It was 50 minutes then drinks came and then food. Pizza last. One drink was wrong but we didn’t bother to get it correct as who knows how long it would take to correct it. Food was tasty and homemade but portion size was not what we would call value for money.

We were here in the height of the tourist season and people were pouring in to the restaurant- with and without reservations. This meant that the service was overstretched so it was a struggle to get a drink and then place an order. I very much understand how tough it is for restaurants to get staff but I also think a restaurant with limited staff needs to limit the number of people who come in. That said, the ambience is great. The pizzas were just what we like - thin, tasty and …we’ll just lovely. You can get reasonably priced wine. So my advice - even if it is a bit overstretched, it is still worth it.

The pizzas are crusty and straight from the oven, with a choice of char grilled vegetables or a salad side. The menu has other options if pizza is not your choice. The cellar atmosphere is cosy and rustic, with lots of meandering nooks and crannies and furniture made from quirky upcycled materials. The service is warm and welcoming

Long time customer. Pizzica was once our favourite take away in town. The venue is amazing but over the past year the quality of food has gone down hill. Not only have we received the wrong pizzas twice (forgot the main ingredient on the pizza) but the quality was appalling. The pizza was soggy and almost impossible to pick up. One of the pizzas had liquid on the top, almost like it was frozen and poorly reheated. We love to get the Italian Delicatessen but the size was halved & quality was reduced considerably. Feels as though management has let it go. We had hoped it was a one off so we came back again, twice but it has it only got worse. Very disappointing. We won’t be back

We ordered takeaway pizza and unfortunately would class them as pretty average. It was the day after a public holiday and the restaurant was busy with may have contributed. The pizzas were undercooked and my margarita had very little tomato, which when you only have two ingredients is disappointing. Shame as we’d heard good things from both family members and strangers.
