We had the cajun chicken and the chicken parmi without chips due to being on a keto stint to lose a gew kgs. We were given extra salad and have to say it was one of the best parmis and cajun chicken we’ve have ever had. Delicious!!!

I had a fantastic experience at DeBernales! The food was absolutely delicious and the service was exceptional. Luc, the owner, made us feel right at home and was incredibly attentive to our needs throughout the meal. I particularly enjoyed the Steak - they were cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The ambiance of the restaurant was also lovely - it was cozy and intimate. I highly recommend DeBernales to anyone looking for a delicious meal and a wonderful dining experience in Kalgoorlie. Thanks, Luc, for creating such a fantastic restaurant!

From the moment you walk in you are greeted by the friendly staff who make you feel welcome . The coffee is not only the consistently the best coffee in town but the best coffee in the world . Chai Latte is perfection. The food is always fresh and presentation is perfect. Smokey Scotch fillet is our favourite , so is the eggs Benedict for breakfast and the sweet corn fritters. All the items on the menu are delicious are Luc makes sure all his customers are happy. We come back every day . Make sure you come to de Bernales on your visit to Kalgoorlie , you won't be disappointed.

Nice venue, very comfortable: has full table service. there is an extensive menu.
Coffee is excellent but our long blacks were served in small cups lonely partially filled: felt. We were shortchanged therein. Pretty much the same with the meals: miserly portions for the price - big breakfast included one bacon rasher, half a piece of sausage and one small piece of toast (albeit gluten free) for two eggs. seemed to be glowing to some trouble to minimise servings. A bit disappointing

Less than average. Ordered a breakfast burger and corn fritters. The burger was nowhere near what was described on the menu. It looked no better than a maccas burger.
It was cold, one piece of bacon and a single over cooked egg.
The corn fitters arrived fresh from the microwave as they resembled a rubber ball. The 2 poached eggs were over cooked and hard as rock.
The waitress was informed of the poor quality but no communication from her.
The cashier asked how the meals were and we informed him that they were less than average. Again he appeared unphased but still took the payment for the over priced meals.
Will never go back, absolutely overrated and over priced.

Advised waitress that daughter had a nut allergy & for this reason ordered gnocchi bolognese not gnocchi pesto ( which contains nuts). To my horror the dish served had a dollop of nut pesto sauce on top. The waitress was apologetic & checked with kitchen staff who assured her there was no nuts in pesto. I questioned again & explained my daughter's severe nut allergy, to which they changed their mind & remade it. I ordered fish/chips & was shocked at the size of the fish. It looked like 2 fish fingers on a bed of chips. This restaurant is overly priced. Disappointed & more diligent to customers allergies.

We went to De Bernales when it first opened and the was not the best so didn’t go back and that would have been around 2 years ago. Went back today for lunch and was extremely disappointed again. The bruschetta was the tiniest bits of untoasted bread with next to no topping at all so bland you couldn’t taste anything it was shocking $2 worth if that for $16. The Thai beef salad - the meat was dry and tough. The salad was old and very tired with half a tomato 4 pieces of cucumber the worst we have had. I won’t be back for another try extremely overpriced for what you get Back to Paddy’s for us

Absolutely Appalling- went in for breakfast and once seated informed that we could not order breakfast, so still stayed and opted to have lunch. We could see breakfast orders still being taken and coming out from the kitchen. Waited for half hr to finally have our orders taken, then informed we’d have to wait longer for the kitchen to tidy up from breakfast.
Waited yet another half hr and told complimentary snacks would be sent out due to the wait. The complimentary snacks were then given to the table next to us (who had already finished breakfast).
Still waiting.... it took even longer to get our lunches- spring roles over cooked to the point the inside had burst and was far too overcooked. The salt n pepper squid was drowning in a sickly sweet sauce, pizza was request to have no basil and was smothered with basil pesto... oh and the final straw was waiting over 1 hr to get drinks then a further half hr to get a frappe!!!
Will not be returning at all.

Dear Robandjane7173, thank you for your feedback and apologies for your unpleasant experience, in defense of my talented and hard working staff there are a number of erroneous statements which I have identified in your feedback after reviewing video footage of your table. Our Breakfast does indeed close at 11 am and video footage confirms you arrived just after that. You are correct in saying breakfast orders were being delivered as these were order taken before breakfast closed and as we cook everything fresh then clearly orders taken at 10:55 would not be ready until after 11 am. You claimed to have waited half an hour to have your order taken, however footage clearly indicates your order was taken at 11:15 and as you sat down at 11:03 I would say 12 minutes is nowhere near the half an hour you claim and with all due respect I commend my staff on their speed and professionalism. I also wish to point out you started to receive your food at 11:42 which is less then half an hour from ordering, your table consisted of 5 adults and a gorgeous little child, can I respectfully point out that less than 30 minutes from ordering on an incredibly busy day is in my opinion impressive. Video footage also confirms your received drinks 12 minutes after ordering and not the hour you claim, granted the frappe did take 28 minutes and whilst I agree it should have been delivered a lot quicker it has to be pointed out that 28 minutes is nowhere near the 1.5 hours you claim to have had to wait for your Frappe. In-fact video footage clearly shows you paid your account at 12:26pm which means your whole time at our venue was less than 1.5 hours. Trip advisor plays an important role in our relentless drive to continue improving but it only works when feedback is constructive and a true reflection of your experience, by embellishing or exaggerating you are devaluing the numerous exceptionally good reports we have received but more importantly you are devaluing the hard work my staff put in everyday. You are very welcome to send me your email and I will be happy to make a copy of the security footage available for you to peruse and confirm the accuracy of my reply. I apologize again for your negative experience, we hope you change your mind and give us another go.

Went here for breakfast. Got eggs benedict and avo smash with bacon. Wouldn’t recommend. Bread was hardly toasted, bacon was hardly cooked, eggs were tasteless and a tiny bit of hollandaise sauce. Both got a juice each, was ok but wouldn’t buy again. Maybe they should stick to the nightclub…

From the moment we arrive we are greeted by the friendly staff and seated right away. Our drinks order is taken and we are served with a smile . Our food is delivered and is fresh and delicious. Today we had the grilled Cajun chicken and salad and a chicken burger . Both meals were presented beautifully and tasted divine. Coffee is the best in town and chai latte is also the best in town . So many choices of cakes . Live music sets a great vibe for the afternoon . Debernales is a must visit if you are in Kalgoorlie. Breakfast lunch dinner and even that after dinner drink .the staff are so friendly.

The taste of the food was exquisite, and every dish left a lasting impression. The ambiance added to the overall charm, creating a perfect setting for a memorable evening.

From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the friendly staff and seated right away. Our drinks order was taken . The decor of the restaurant has an elegant vibe and everything is clean and all the staff have a friendly smile. Our food order was taken and came out quickly.The spring rolls were a perfect entree . We had chicken parmigiana and it was delicious and a good sized portion. Grilled Fish and chips was cooked perfectly The steak sandwich was cooked perfectly with amazing flavour. The carbonara was traditional and amazing. We will be back regularly.

The restaurant was lively for a Sunday evening. The food was excellent and portions were large - particularly the pork belly, my husband and expected 3 or four small portions but the serving was very generous (and delicious). The Cajun chicken was excellent. Unlike a lot of places, they allowed us to split the bill and we got chatting to the owner who was so friendly, he decided to give us a bottle of sparkling wine as we were leaving, which we asked if we could stay and drink it there - he duly sent over an ice bucket and four glasses and we had very relaxing post dinner hour there too.

I had my first-ever visit to De Bernales in Kalgoorlie, and it was incredible! The staff were so welcoming and friendly.
The food blew me away – not only did it taste amazing, but it also looked like a work of art. I went for the Grilled Cajun chicken and the Chicken burger. Each dish was a delightful surprise.The icing on the cake, so to speak, was the outstanding coffee, undoubtedly the best in town.
The live music added such a cool vibe to the place.My first experience was so impressive, and I can't wait to go back and savor more of their delicious food and great vibes!

I hate giving bad reviews to newly opened restaurants but we probably won’t be returning, was a busy night but more staff would’ve made that easier on them for a start. Very slow service, then dinner sat at service counter while flies were around. Meals were definitely worth the fairly high prices, husbands steak was raw when asked for medium, Gnocchi is very small. Drinks took way too long to come so had to cancel them. Really not the best experience overall and too expensive for what it was.
