As everyone else says - it is has a fantastic view and beautiful location. Service is a bit sloppy but you get your food fairly quickly. The food was fine (calamari, saganaki cheese and pita bread and garlic bread) but nothing amazing..all seemed very greasy.. Coffee was lovely

I'm sorry but great view was the only good thing about this place. It is a lovely spot to sit and enjoy the sunset and have a few drinks but don't bother with the food it's over priced and below average. The service was great too and waitresses very friendly. Wish we had of eaten at one of the other... More

It was a perfect day in St Kilda - sun was shining, beach was looking spectacular and everyone seemed to be in a good mood - bar the staff who worked here. Service was pretty poor here in the sense that you had to wait quite a while for drinks and then food and then to pay the bill. Amenities... More

We found ourselves wandering along St Kilda Beach at lunch time and decided to brave one of several busy eating places right on the beach. We selected Beachcomber because we were able to see everything and everyone without being in the sun and because they had quite a varied menu. We decided to share baked eggplant, pumpkin fritters and sweet... More

We had shared entrees and a pizza and the food was great. However, we had to wait over 30 minutes to get a second drink, despite numerous grabbing the attention of the waiters numerous times. We even went up to the bar to get a drink however were told to go back to our table and wait for the waiters.... More

Great location along the St Kilda foreshore but we were totally underwhelmed with the food and menu. There's not a lot of options, very pub style and the food is so expensive! We saw a group of 6 sit down then rethink the impact on their wallets and leave. Salad was slimy and almost warm but the main was almost... More

Very nice view of the beach and sea. Layed back, but service still pretty good. We all had the moussaka, which was excellent. Beer was cold atmosphere very nice. You can get a very light snack right through to a good steak. Great place to have a cold one and watch the parade of people walking by.

I was there in January with some friends and it was a cool and very windy day so they had the screens pulled down round the open air area. There was no view of course. On this visit it was a beautiful early autumn evening. Sitting outside by the path was magnificent, watching the strollers walk along the beach front,... More

Being next to Republica, Beachcomber gets a good clientel, food is good and reasonably priced. In the evenings it is a great place to relax over dinner and watch the sun go down over the bay

This cafe is at the perfect location. The food is very expensive $35-$45 a main and beers are $9-$12 each. Kids soft drinks were $5 each. It cost my husband and our 4 year old $90 just for lunch 😩 the food was ok but nothing to rave about for that price. The toilets were dirty and disgusting. They obviously... More
