Terrible customer service! I called to make an order, asked "what Burrito's do you have"? The lady told me she was too busy to tell me, and that I should look at the menu and call back when I was ready to order. I went...to another Mexican place.More

It's usually the highly rated that have disappointed us with their food. Don't know if it's the delivery time that reduces the likeability or the shoddily cooked But in Bay City Burrito it was definitely the Enchilada - Naked Style Burrito that disappointed us and...not even the amazing Cajun Chicken could save our mood. Thick Chewy Dry Burrito, stuffed with badly chewy flavorless chicken with dressing that had no taste was quite difficult to swallow, let alone chew. Yet 3/5? Just for the sake of Cajun Picante, that deserved what it deserved. The prices are a bit steep but so is the quantity....More

We ordered two burritos to pick up tonight. One a Bay City bomber, the second a make your own burrito. I dont usually make a point of complaining about meals, but if Id been dining in rather than doing take away, I would've sent this...one back to the kitchen. The bay city bomber consisted of about 40% cheese and the rest rice and beans. The small portion of meat, guac and sour cream was found at the very bottom of the burrito. The lettuce, tomato and onion were mostly non existent. My partner ordered a make your own burrito, and optimistically added the 3 Amigos, including sour cream and guac, which she didnt receive. If the team dont have the ingredients to make certain options, they couldve have told us over phone. Were a bit frustrated and disappointed. We wont be ordering again.More

Ordered food here on Friday night as a treat - Placed the order online directly through the website to ‘support local’ and avoid any delivery fees from uber/menu log etc. Selected my pick up time and went to collect my order at that time, I...was standing in front of the till for a good 5 minutes before the woman serving even looked at me. When she did serve me I was told that there was no record of my order and there was something wrong with their app. After mentioning that I didn’t order through an app and the server still not understanding I had to place my order again and hang around for another 15 minutes while they prepared this, there wasn’t any apologies from the woman serving and a bit of attitude. If I hadn’t already paid for my order online, I would have just walked out at this point. When I picked up my order and took this home, we found that there was items missing. I called the restaurant a few times and no one answered, when someone finally did (the same woman serving) she asked me to speak to the delivery driver (still not understanding that I hadn’t ordered through an app) and then to come back to the restaurant to get something - I wasn’t going to do this considering I’d already walked about 20 minutes and was back in my house for the night. I went back today and managed to get a refund. I can definitely see the value of placing the order through a delivery service for this place, if it wasn’t for the good food I wouldn’t be returning. Really good food but really disappointing customer service.More

We booked as we thought on a Saturday night it would be busy. We arrived just before 7.30pm to find we were te only people. However within 10 minutes the place was half full and by the time we left the only vacant table was...the one we left. Great range of burritos. Both ours were very tasty. My only minor criticism is that mine probably should have been on a little longer so that it was warmer throughout and the cheese properly. Large serves, I couldn't finish mine and my partner was glad we hadn't ordered entree.More

Popped in for the happy hour and ordered the nachos. Was overcharged and when questioned the waitress argued with me. Fortunately another waitress came over, apologised and sorted it. The original waitress never once apologised! Code needed for bathroom and staff are very happy to...watch you heading there without telling you you need a code. Food was the saving grace as it was very good but as with so many places employing teenage girls who couldn’t give a toss always results in the service undermining any restaurants best efforts.More

My wife and I went for a very late lunch here on a Saturday and we hadn't been in a few months as the last visit was disappointing. As soon as we arrived the fact that the place was busy and the atmosphere buzzing we...knew instantly there has been changes made. The venue was vibrant and it seems there are new front of house and kitchen staff in place that have injected a fantastic ambience and the food was top drawer. The previous manager was negative and borderline argumentative which was really off putting, however now there is engaging and approachable foh staff that made us feel welcome and appreciated. The nachos were the best have had anywhere, the breakfast burrito was most moist and flavoursome and the burritos were fantastic. The Latin music combined with the south American staff gives this venue a really authentic feel and it will be a regular go to for us in the future. Well done to management for ringing in the changes and you should know customers respond to this and our experience was so positive compared to previously. Well done. Highly recommended.More

Friendly staff, meals came out promptly. One burrito will be enough for most people. They're a good size and filled with lots of fresh, flavourful ingredients. I also had a fish taco, which was OK but not as good as the burritos. The 'spicy' option...for the burritos is quite tame so if you like even mild hot food, it's worth getting.More
