I visited The Peppermill for an event and I was really pleased with it. The staff were very warm and welcoming and were willing to help with all requests. The function space we were provided was great as it had a water urn so we...didn’t have to keep visiting the bar. This is a standard pub family bistro type place. Five of us were there on a Saturday night as it a regular place for two of the people. Service was quite quick, but on busy nughts its order at the register and pick u from...the counter when your buzzer buzzes. I was a bit wary and din't expect much but ordered the special Scotch fillet steak ($39.50). It was delicious and cooked exactly as I ordered (blue). Unusually for a pub it was a thick cut Scotch fillet rather than the thin piece you usually get. Vegtables were a bit soggy, but chips were nice and crispy. Anyway, the meal I had exceeded expectations, hence the five stars. Also wine by the glass includes Seppelt Heathcote The Dirves Shiraz, which is a great wine for this sort of place ($8.50 a glass). I understand a seniors meal being cheaper than a full meal but to serve a chicken parma CUT in half on the plate is not a good look, surely a small parma could be sourced!!!

Took the family for dinner and we all were impressed by the quality and portion size of our meals. Pleasant surroundings and friendly staff. Good pub good at reasonable prices.

Great meals, with a good choice from the menu excellent service, from both the meals staff and the bar staff. Highly recommended.

OMG, Aviod food here at all costs, 3 times in a row Ive beed dudded, never again, last time was asked for a steak sandwich, was sent out a scone with a raw steak dripping out every side with barbecue sauce, with no onion or...salad but with a egg, wtf is this, and served with cold macdonalds style chips, what a horrible tasting meal, I ate 2 bites and left this mess on the plate and all for 33 dollars, next time people just go through Mcdonalds drive through, save the drama, looks like a nice place but its fake, and the young girls at the time were agressive on previous visit ...... just a nightmare this jointMore

The ground floor was recently refurbished and in excellent condition except the aircon was old school and we were not able to regulate it. Room had a nespresso pod coffee machine, microwave, small fridge & 2 lounge chairs. Motel located not far from Riverside Plaza...and easy to locate. Customers of motel restaurant who are not guests use up lots of car spaces and noisy when they leave at night.More

Unfortunately due to severe illness we were unable to come and stay at the Peppermill. I requested a cancellation with a waiver of the fees due to sudden severe illness. I also sent an email to the Peppermill with the same request. I did not...receive any correspondence or call from the hotel about my request prior to being charged. I totally understand the hardships businesses have endured over the last 3 years, being in business myself and one of those businesses being Short Term Accomodation I am disgusted and disappointed that the Peppermill did not contact me to inform me that my request to waive the fees was denied prior to expected arrival time and charges processed There should still be a level of customer service that is met, and sadly this was not the caseMore

Meals were delicious, thought seniors meal was going to be smaller, not so, quite substantial but I pushed through it lol.

We waited over an hour for our meals that was after going up twice to find out what was going on with no real answer as to what was going on. This was also after multiple people who order after us received their meals and...when the meals were collected it turns out they had gone way past our number by a minimum of 30 meals. Not a single person on our table finished their meal as they either didn’t taste very nice or weren’t cooked properlyMore

We normally go out for a meal at our local golf club of which we are a member but this day the club was not doing any meals so the peppermill it was , the meals were not too bad and service very quick ,...the drinks we normally pay $35.50 for a round of a jug of beer and a bottle of cheap white wine at the club, this time it was $68.00 for the same and being a member of the club it should be a bit more expensive but not double , this will stop us from going to the peppermill the next time .More
