This seems to be a place for young people looking for live music, not for couples looking for a good meal and a quiet night out. We asked about our meal over an hour after ordering and were told that the wait was an hour...and a half. If someone had bothered to tell us that when ordering, it would have been nice. The food was good when it eventually came but I didn’t really taste it as I ate so quickly because I was very hungry by that stage.More

I enjoyed a meal here with some friends recently. We ordered two pizzas between us and that was plenty. The pizzas are wood-fired with a lovely thin crust and tasty toppings. Good stuff.

Ordered pork belly and pork was so dry like jerky Un edible stay away from restaurant. Missed sides apple sauce. Taking the fu*kery that is Shepparton to a new level. Avoid avoid avoid.

Had lunch with another couple at the Auzzie Hotel today. The parmas were huge and really tasty and the salt and pepper calamari was the best I have ever eaten. Both dishes came with crispy chips and a well dressed salad. The meals came out...quickly, waited 10 minutes at most. The service was very friendly and welcoming and the meals were both well priced. If this was close to where I lived I would be a regular, and I am fussy with my meals!More

On our way to Bendigo, stopped for a coffee in Shepparton then decided to stay for lunch. Chose the Aussie Hotel and glad we did. My Greek style salad with calamari was huge and delicious. Hubby's aussie burger was good. Friendly service.

We were in Shepparton for Australia Day and there was hardly anything open. We’d about given up but saw that the pub was open and not expecting much, decided to give it a go. It was fantastic! I’ve been back three times since the the...food is uniformly great. The salmon on salad it top notch and my husband always enjoys every mouthful of his steak which is cooked to perfection. The staff are friendly and efficient. Why go elsewhere?More

Decided to catch up with a friend for lunch and decided to go to the Aussie for lunch, haven't been there for a while and it is still as good as i remember, great service and reasonably priced food and really enjoyed our meals

This was a very busy place on the Friday night we visited. We pre booked a table for 25, it was set out waiting for us. Meals huge, chips crunchy! Order drinks and meals at the bar....remember your table number 😀 Centrally located to the...main shopping mall. Plenty of street parking. Excellent for large groups. Just ask for your table not to be near the outdoor smoking area. As every time the automatic doors open, cigarette smoke comes wafting through.☹️ Highly recommend!!!More

Not only is the Aussie Hotel a beautiful old building, it has a huge, hipster beer garden out the back (makes for a perfect summer venue). The food was top quality classic pub meals at good prices and the staff were super friendly and service...Orientated.More

Service was great, and very friendly, easy parking and plenty of space and room to move from each area. Great prices for seniors, which is not alway available at eateries
