Fabulous food, probably the best Thai I’ve had in Australia. Completely unexpected from a nondescript converted house in the middle of a million car workshops. Lovely inside, very welcoming, but the food was nuts. I had a red duck curry with lychees but everything was...awesome. Worth visiting Shep for. Cheap too.More

This is the second time I have had lunch at the Last Straw and it won’t be the last. The staff are friendly and the meals are tasty and reasonably priced.

Our got to place in Shepparton especially when we have people visiting. They have the right formula with a simple menu, quality food and friendly service. Today they changed the mix with a pork belly, coleslaw with peanut sauce in a roll, bahn mi style....What a winner. Add to that their thai omelet with pork and a glass of sauvignon blanc (BYO of course) and the culinary gods have smiled. Didn't have one of their coffees but they were pouring out the door so they must be good.More

Very warm staff, the inside of the cafe is warm and inviting with funky furniture that suits the music, smell and the vibe of the building. However, would love to enjoy breakfast here but didn’t serve when I visited.

This is probable the best restaurant in Australia The vibe is great you can tell the family has poured all the love in it. Adjacent to the restaurant is another building with large dining area and loads of decorations where the second floor serves as...the family residence. The matriarch is in the kitchen making sure every dish that is cooked is perfect and authentic. No ready made sauces here Many outdoors hidden places to find a table for your own. The gorgeous daughters are ensuring everything is alright and the beautiful tall young waitress very pleasant and professional 5 stars. Because there aren’t 6 stars in the TripAdvisorMore

This is a wonderful, family run restaurant and coffee roaster. Only open for lunch Tuesday to Sunday, Yow, John and the family have been able to achieve the perfect work/life balance. And we, the customers, are also the winners. On our last visit, it was...Street Food Saturday. In addition to the regular menu and the daily specials, the barbecue in the courtyard was producing street food plates of several types of meat and grilled corn. And there was plenty of it. What also makes this place a success is not trying to offer everything you can think of on a Thai or Asian restaurant. Instead, it's a staple of six dishes and three or four daily specials. And it's all very fresh and cooked with care and attention to every customer and every order.More

Went for lunch last Friday. Place was very quirky and fun. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable about the menu and coffee beans that are roasted on site. Best of all the food was awesome 👏 Very authentic Thai food with good quality ingredients. The...menu has a range of probably 6-7 choices to suit what is seasonally fresh at the time but it is also changed regularly Would definitely recommend this place but phone first as it can be very busy.More

I have visited this place a few times now and every time the food and coffee have been really nice, went here with a friend who hadn't been here before and she enjoyed her meal as well

Went by reviews and were certainly not disappointed. Food, service, and coffee all great. Highly recommend. Only comment other than that is the outdoor area could probably do with a bit of sprucing up.
