Found this place by accident, so we stopped in for a coffee. After driving though one of Mildura's newer estates (and this one on the water side), we strolled past the many House Boats available for hire we came upon the Dockside Cafe. Our Canadian host was excellent and we were treated to one of Mildura's best tasting coffees (we are from Melbourne). The views of the Murray and the accompanying Mildura Docklands provides a very relaxing experience that I personally recommend. Try it for yourself, and I am sure you will agree.

Husband really enjoyed his fish and chips, my panini was very disappointing. The bread was stale, and toasted it probably would have been okay, but served up untoasted it was horrible. Ended up scraping the roasted veg and pest onto my plate, it was delicious, but lukewarm as were the chips. Very busy, and wait staff learning, which is acceptable in these times. We waited nearly an hour for our meals, and we accept that as well. Sad experience, as we have enjoyed eating here before.

We discovered the “water toys” by accident looking for a boat to hire for a day. We decided on a pontoon for a day - the price difference between 1/2 a day and a full day is only $100. It was amazing. We were fortunate and had a lovely day on the river. We cruised all the way to beyond Trentham Wine estate and then pretty much used the river’s currents to float back to the docks. We spent about 6 hours on the Murray. It was peaceful with beautiful scenery. And the pontoon is easy to navigate and enjoy a very comfortable cruise. Highly highly recommended. The staff at both All Seasons and Bayside Cafe (seems to be a collaborative affair) were very helpful and friendly.

I was keen to try the new Menu as the new Management had been in place for a month now. Anzac Day Lunch. Table was booked for 5 people, but upon arrival we were told to just grab a table. We ordered our meals together with our drinks and took our seating. Ten minutes later two meals made their way to our table. A further 10 minutes later another two without their side dish's. After another 10 minutes 2 coffees arrived followed by the two side dish's. I had raised the fact I was still waiting for my salad. Waitress went and enquired and never returned. I asked another Waitress when she was bringing other meals past if it was enquired about. Once again they never returned. 3 enquiry's and I waited a further 10 minutes 30 minutes from my first enquiry. I chose to give up and asked for a refund only to be questioned why.. The venue was busy the food presented was delicious but the service was below average poor with a lot of people standing around waiting to be seated or served.

My partner and I came across this little gem of an eatery in Mildura yesterday for lunch. Having eaten the most scrumptious Turkish Panini there (vegetarian with extra avocado 🥑) I want to spread the word that …. the food at the Dockside Cafe is ‘par excellance’ - the best EVER panini we have EVER eaten; the staff offer a service which is exceptionally good - very friendly and extremely attentive; and the location is relaxed and comfortable. What a find! If you’re in Mildura seek out this treasure, and enjoy all that the Dockside Cafe has to offer. Enjoy :-) !

Great little location. After checking in we were shown to a table. It was lovely sitting out on the deck watching the world go around. The menu had a good variety of items particularly Gluten Free options. I had the calamari salad and my husband had a Chicken BLT burger. Both of these were fresh and delicious. Most patrons seemed lical so it was not overrun with tourists. Very yummy. Would be visiting again.

The location of this cafe is a winner. On one side of the Marina with bush land on the other side. The menu covered a wide range of dishes. There was inside or outside seating. It is wise to book to get an umbrella covered table. The carp were milling around below the dock. The sun was shining. A great lunch was had!

We were lured back by the promise of new management and the new, extensive menu, so what could possibly go wrong? Grilled Barramundi at $25 for a start. Mine had obviously been frozen, thawed in the bag and cremated on the same hotplate as a beef burger. It was full of char, leather dry, greasy and overcooked. Totally inedible. Hubby’s chicken BLT burger was cremated in the fryer, tinder dry and tasteless. Given the tiny kitchen and limited preparation space I suggest they ‘keep it simple’ and consider an all-day breakfast menu instead of targeting a very difficult market. Dockside Café is in the river, a great location, which should speak for itself, but we had difficulty finding a car space amongst the boat trailers and had to walk quite a distance to the café.

Dockside Cafe in Mildura is an absolute gem! Nestled right next to the water in the Marina. Its a fun spot for the whole family. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing, perfect for a yummy meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, which enhances the overall experience. The food is delicious—I'd highly recommend the chili scrambled eggs For families with young children, there's a fantastic playground for my niece to enjoy while we dined. Highly recommend it!

We arrived just on opening and was greeted by a young man who was very friendly and showed us to a table. All 3 front of house staff were very professional and friendly. And then came breakfast and it did not let us down, it was one of the nicest breakfast I have had in a long while. If you are in Mildura you have to try the dockside cafe.

My friend and I arrived just as the kitchen was closing, but rather than turning us away, the staff went out of their way to take our orders and treated us like royalty. Honestly. The staff were so super lovely, and the food was wonderful. Of course we will be returning!!!! 20/10.

At least there is a nice view. (If you have that one good table). The best thing they have going for them is the view onto the Murray river -inlet. Seriously the place was empty and there were two tables were in the shade on the deck. After being told it was table service and being left to find a table by myself. As no one else was in the restaurant I chose a table in the shade. When ordering I asked asked if my table choice was ok and was told it was fine. Literally as my food came out I was asked to move as the table had been booked. All available tables were now in the sun. Also no one had arrived to take my table. The place was still empty virtually. It seemed that I was just too much of a bother to them.

Great food. Great staff. Great views. We spent three hours there while our kids were using the rental kayaks you can also get here. Holly was amazingly helpful and the other staff were professional. I had one of the best chicken Caesar wraps I’ve had in ages. My youngest had the steak sanga which looked great. And the cheesecake was the perfect end to the afternoon.
