Arrived with great expectation only to be told our booking had not been recorded and we could only be seated outside in the chilly breeze. Had no choice other than to leave and spend our money elsewhere. If I only had space for a single comment it would be ‘GET THE BAKED YABBIE TART’!!!!!What a fantastic starter!!!! Absolutely beautiful. We wished we’d just had one for entree as well as one more for main course! It was exquisite. The two main courses,...crispy pork belly and cod fillet, did not look particularly extraordinary on the plate BUT top-end flavour and cooking technique. So the plating fitted the ‘bistro’ standard, but on the whole the dishes far exceeded the expectations determined by what we saw in front of us. Really impressed! And a lovely setting and Cellar Reserve Verdejo too!More

Such a beauty setting by the river. Really lovely cellar door. We visited on Easter Sunday. There was a gourmet bbq as a special for the Easter weekend. We didn’t have a booking as we just decided to go and have a look. We had...our little dog with us also. They are dog friendly as there is lots of seating outdoors. The cellar door is lovely. They have a great wine club and the prices of the wines are very reasonable.More

What a gem. Set on the cliffs above the z Murray in spectacular garden. We took the option of lunch on the garden but you can eat more formally on the veranda or inside. Great setting. Outdoor food is by platter. Cellar is well presented.

The venue is idyllic . Making full use of its riverside location and natural surroundings. After a wander around we ate inside the restaurant in favour of the balcony only because it was a 40 degree day. The wait staff are very good at what...they do andvery accomodating. We had what we both agreed was the best entree we have ever had. A yabby and citrus salad . The flavours were sublime. Our mains were both special of the day, the duck and mango salad and a spaghetti marinara. Both mains were again amazing ,the flavours fresh and on point. Despite being so very satisfied we did order sweets, an affogato with some of the most incredible vanilla bean ice cream and a vanilla pannacotta with citrus and berries. Just perfection. What ever the chef gets paid it should be more. The whole meal was faultless. The Trentham estate wines were a great accompaniment. Booking is essential thie location and the quality of the food make this a very popular place.More

Lunch for 6 in between christmas and new year was exceptional. Service was fast and efficient. The food was delicious. Personally, I recommend the yabbies and the duck leg. Decent prices for wines. Of course, the gardens and venue is stunning. Would recommend for a...long lunch.More

A dining experience you can’t miss when in Mildura, Trentham Estate is superb. We started with wine tasting, before dining, and then settled happily in a window table for a truly delectable meal. We had deck leg and the pork belly and both were amazing....Beautiful sauces, vegetable accompaniments and a lovely glass of Merlot and rose to go with our meal. Service was excellent and serves were generous. Would highly recommend a meal here, and on a Wednesday lunch, it was packed, and we understand why.More
