My second visit to this restaurant was much the same as the first - consistently good food, but consistently poor timeliness. On the first occasion, we ordered via phone call, and provided our desired pick-up time. On arrival, our food was not ready, and was...not ready for another 15 minutes. Tonight, bearing in mind the last experience with delayed readiness, we ordered online for a 5.15pm pick-up, with the order placed at 4.30pm, allowing plenty of time for preparation - three curries, two rice, three naans, and one other side dish. An earlier pick-up was needed, due to other evening appointments from 6pm on. On arrival at 5.20pm, the order was not ready, and did not come out until 5.25pm. There was no apology from the front counter hostess, just a remark that the order was still "a couple of minutes" away; then she went and did something else. No other customer was in the restaurant, and nor did any other customer arrive while I was there waiting. So, slightly better than the first time, but still not good enough, as far as the customer placing an order for pick-up at a certain time, and the order not being ready for that time. This seemingly consistent viewing of expressed customer pick-up times with disregard is unfortunately a black mark against this restaurant, which does provide consistently good food otherwise. This review would go from 'Average' to 'Excellent' if this restaurant was attentive to specified customer pick-up times, rather than, ostensibly, dismissive.More

We had a lovely time as a family of 6 at Little Chef, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was inviting.

We travel 9 months of the year and can't wait to get back to the Little Chef Indian Restaurant because it is superb food and attentive staff. The Tandoori Platter is to die for and always full of succulent meats and a terrific onion/capsicum base....We often follow with one of their superb vegetarian main meals with Naan and Rice. We enjoy medium Indian and it is always what we expect. I ordered Mild for my sister and she too was happy. Great place and good valueMore

Ordered through Uber eats, everything turned up cold, no flavour, butter chicken and chicken korma taste the same. Wasted $80. I called to complain and the manager told me there was no flavour because I ordered mild flavour to my dishes. He also told me...to put a complaint through to Uber eats & I wouldn’t get a refund for 10 days. Very rude on the phone! Don’t waste your money!More

Very well prepared all curries by Chef as requested on table. Authentic Indian food. Daal tadak was fantastic Veg jalfrazi was outstanding. Bit worried when “now hiring” on front window but that became non issue. Quality food, service and dinner experience a winner beginning to end. Table of 5 tried wide range. Entrees, tandoor platter, curries, naan & rice. All family happily gobbled down the grand feast....After trying Indian elsewhere, this is the King in Geelong.More

We had a very enjoyable evening for our Date night. Staff were lovely, very attentive, meal was delicious. We would recommend Little Chef Indian restaurant to family and friends and will be returning.

Everything on the menu is delicious, the chefs are knowledgeable and can cater to specific requests. The staff are always very friendly and welcoming. As for me, the Saag Panner, the samosa and aloo tikki are THE best in Geelong. But, but!!! You WILL not...find a better tandoor cooked Chicken Tikka in Geelong, with the mint raita.....❤️ Absolute Perfection! Get on it peeps👍More

Just had a wonderful evening with my family. The food was delicious and service was extremely professional and friendly at the same time. The tandoori mushroom was awesome as was the kadhai paneer. I have not been able to find a Indian restaurant that I...really like until now. The best Indian Food in Geelong. Will surely recommend.More
