Popped in here for breakfast. Despite this being a large venue, they were only doing take away service. Ordered a toasted breakfast roll, which was chewy & rather tasteless, and weirdly they could not make a cup of tea. No doubt placing a tea bag in hot water was too difficult. Will not be going back here again, with so many better eateries around.

Quite a dangerous place this! I seemed to make at least two visits a day for pies of various shapes and sizes.
Rolls, sandwiches and quiches are very nice too but I didn’t save room for any cakes so can’t comment on those.
Nice decking area out the back overlooking the Campaspe River.

The Beechworth Bakery chain has a reputation for good food regardless of its location.
The Echuca outlet is not going to let you down.. Ordered two Ned Kelly pies and they didn’t disappoint. Also had a vanilla sluce I shared with my partner who (as a Kiwi was uncertain about the pink icing, but iI assured them both pink and white icing were acceptable in Australia.
Only issue we had was we couldn’t sit down to eat due to covid restrictions presumably. Issue is we walked past a day later to find tables had chairs out with them. As no k own changes to covid rules this made no sense to us and would have liked to have had this seated option available for when we ate.

We apologise for any confusion around seating. Their were new regulations put in place for employers. All staff members needed to be double vaccinated to be able to offer any seating. This meant that we had to do takeaway only for a few days until all our staff had their second dose vaccination appointments. We hope to see you again soon! Take care 😊

My mushroom pie at the Beechworth Bakery was a 9 out of 10 as it was huge and full of delicious meat and mushrooms.
The sausage roll not quit the same standard.
My husband’s chicken wrap was up there as well.
Plenty of seating inside but we opted to sit outside on the deck by the river.

We stopped here for some food on the run. There was plenty of choice especially in the cakes. However the service was appalling. Nothing is clear where to order, do you line up for coffee or is it part of ordering food?? That’s not much to complain about but the girl taking the orders would crake her face if she smiled. There was absolutely no greeting and she obviously doesn’t like her job. The person serving or taking the orders is the face of the company and she certainly lets the company down.
The food was good but the service member could not look any more sour if she tried.

Went with the family for breakfast and service was great. The girl that served us was friendly and helpful as we made our selection. We visited during COVID restrictions and they were great and getting details and supporting the rules.
Food was delicious and filling we can’t wait to go back and try something else 😀

Oh yes, this is a must. We so love this bakery. It is big, spacious has upstairs seating as well as outside and downstairs, The coffee and food is absolutely delicious, and we brought bread to take home which was so good. The service is also great and we will always re-visit.

You can sit on the back deck and overlook the Campaspe river while you eat a delicious pie, sandwich or one of the large range of cakes. It was just lovely and a perfect day weatherwise. Would definitely go there again.

We went there for lunch As we had been there in previous years but this visit was not up to their usual standard. We ordered a toasted ham & cheese sandwich & 2 coffees. what we got was toasted cheese & egg sandwich. We decided to eat it as we didn't want to cause a fuss, but it was awful so we through it out in the bin. We always order ham, cheese & sometimes tomatoe toasted sandwich where ever we go. 1 coffee didn't have sugar & there was none around where the cutlery was kept. We didn't go back there while we were in Echuca.

This place is ok. I went there about 15 years ago and remembered it being good. Now it’s very expensive and they don’t have that much of a range of food. My partner are both vegetarians and didn’t have many options so we had sandwiches. They were over $10 each and fairly basic. We didn’t return here during our stay in Echuca. My local bakery in Belgrave Victoria is multiple times better with maybe 40 different types of cakes, 5 different types of quiches etc. There’s a lot of advertising and self promotion in the Echuca bakery but overall it’s average at best. I felt like they just wanted to cash in and make as much money as possible.

Hands down best pasty I have had. We also bought butter chicken pie, pepper and bourbon pie and all were yummy. Coffee was nice also. Glad to see checking photo id of those sitting even outside.

OMG, it doesn’t matter what you eat, everything is so delicious - meat pies, cakes, coffee. We went every day we were in town and were never disappointed with what we bought. The vanilla slices were my favourite. The line may be long but it moves quickly. Staff are friendly and efficient.

This morning we enjoyed chocolate eclairs and a cappuccino for breakfast. Not your average breakfast but it was good Friday so we indulged a little. We sat out the back enjoying the Campaspe river views. So much variety here. There's something for everyone. Kids would love this bakery

The food is good as we had remembered it, but we had some issues with the service. It was not a busy time, but perhaps people do not listen well. We ordered a vegie pastie. We then looked at the pre-made rolls and saw the salad ones all had meat in them. They said they would make us one to order, so we asked for a cheese and salad. It came with chicken. The pastie was as described, but a little bland. The dining in was comfortable as usual and the view from the back area looked out over the Campaspe River.

Food was ready extremely quickly and the staff were actually the best. Much better than some of the hotels trying to pass themselves as upmarket restaurants while serving mediocre food. The chicken pesto sandwich on sourdough was phenomenal.
