Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Sitting proudly atop of a non descript office building. Nimbus is the only rooftop bar in central Victoria. This unique destination boasts some pretty good views across the towns skyline. Spying high-rises, Church spires and the gardens. Nimbus is modern, minimalistic and decorated with twinkle festoon lighting letting the panoramas be the real hero. Perched on our high leaners we ordered our drinks and pizza's (Pepperoni / Tropical) with arancini balls. A little disappointing as they were lukewarm but at least they were tasty. While the menu is limited there is a good variety of popular bar snacks. Nimbus is an impressive beginning to Bendigo's rooftop bar scene. This Nimbus is certainly an improve on the vehicle.

We called in after dinner for a quick drink. Whilst it is a rooftop bar its only a few floors up. It was nightime and there wasnt really a view as they had some type of barrier which may have kept the place warmer as there were heaters operating. Overall a nice cosy and warm bar on a cold winter night.

Was a bit out of the centre and the view not all that. Not a lot of space between the tables. Service a little haphazard.

As a traveller, Nimbus Rooftop bar / restaurant provides the perfect, unique location for great food, drinks and company with the most amazing views of Bendigo - I agree with NellyC76, it is a hidden gem. It has a modern, stylish, relaxed vibe and the staff are very friendly and attentive. The pumpkin and sage arancini balls, crispy pork belly, lamb gnocchi and grazing board with local produce and homemade breads were delicious, and the cocktails looked very inviting. We'd highly recommend the Bottomless Brunch option. Today was a beautiful winter's day so the open design allowed us to enjoy the sun, however, cafe style blinds, a closing louvre roof and heaters would create a cosy atmosphere in cooler weather. This rooftop bar / restaurant can be found in the CBD close to the station and parking at the Bendigo Market Place. Nimbus is the perfect place to catch up with a group of friends, family or for a girls day out. I'm sure at night it must look spectacular, so I'll definitely be back soon.

We had seen this adverised on the TV program "Postcards" so thought we would give it a try. Reading some reviews I am puzzeled by what was amazing about the view which was mostly factories & shop roofs. Service was really poor as the waitress kept forgetting stuff and we didn't get water with our meal until we had nearly finished. Food was pretty average an there was no social distancing between the tabled which we packed tightly together. Will not be going back or recommending this place.

This is the perfect place to sit and watch the sunset over Bendigo. The view is incredible. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful and service was efficient. The menu is limited but it offers delicious options. I highly recommend the bao buns and the pork belly. We were here on a cool evening, but the heaters provided did the job. I can't wait to come back again.

I had the nicest cocktail I’ve ever had here last night - a Shiraz Sour. I stopped by for a pre-dinner drink but I will be back to try dinner here. A lovely setting for Bendigo, which I imagine is even better in summer all open. A nice find.

We were very disappointed. Our party of 10 were the only customers yet our pizzas were either undercooked or burnt.
