Water was delivered to the table as soon as we were seated. Dinner was served in good time, and by friendly helpful front of house staff.
Beef brisket with maple bbq sauce was divine! Smoked lamb with bbq glaze was equally good. Both sauces served in mini jugs so you can have as little or as much as you want!
We chose the house slaw and pickled carrot salad as sides, both were fresh and delicious.
A good range of cocktails, beer and wine on offer at very reasonable prices. We chose a fruit tingle cocktail and a local beer.
Staff were helpful with recommendations, attentive but not intrusive.
Hats off to the chef, who was busy in the kitchen! An excellent experience, we'll be back.

As a tourist you’re always hunting for something to eat that is tasty, real food away from the takeaway (next door to McDonalds) or pub variety. We found this here, we were recommend to try this place by a local shopkeeper and it didn’t disappoint. The food was beautifully cooked and I enjoyed every bite.

You know a meal was good when you wake up the next morning wanting to eat the same thing again.
Burnt ends 10/10
Fried pickles - life changing
Ribs fall off the bone tender
And the in house dessert selections are absolutely amazing.
Highly recommend for value for money exceptional dining ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We came to Bendigo for a New Years getaway and found this gem of a restaurant. The waitress was friendly and accommodating of our diners. Going as far as to find us Tequila shots off menu. The meat was high quality and melt in your mouth, burgers tasty and mac and cheese gooey. Fried pickles were a surprising highlight. Restaraunt had a friendly and accommodating atmosphere. Would visit again. Thanks for a lovely New Years Redgum.

Reservation ,dinner for 2 at 6pm. Just as well we were the first to arrive as they moved tables to accommodate us. No distancing at all. Don't know how they get away with it. Staff friendly. Ordered Brisket and a side of chips. Plate came with Brisket and nothing else. Chips in bowl were left over bits and pieces of chips . After being in lock down for so long one would have expected that Management would get in right. Won't be back .

Loved this place, small, but we were able to get a table without a booking, food and service was excellent, very friendly staff and service was great. We shared the baby back ribs and added 2 sides, there was plenty of food.
The ribs were melt in your mouth and came with a delicious gravy.

Great food, good service and great ambience. Corn bread and the pickled carrot a stand out. We ordered brisket, lamb and pork and they were all delicious. We will be back.

We had a very yummy meal here of brisket, burnt ends pork belly, lamb shoulder, cornbread and mac and cheese. The brisket melted on our mouths.

The restaurant on a Saturday night was full. We ordered two tapas dishes, cheese croquettes and pigs belly. Both were tasty but the servings were very small. We shared a chicken paella for main course and the serving was large. It was pleasant but lacked some flavour and the rice was soggy rather than fluffy. For desert we had the churros and the crime brûlée. The crime brûlée was meant to be orange infused but we couldn’t taste any orange. Biggest disappointment with the brûlée was the toffee on top. Instead of covering the entire custard as has been the case in every other creme brûlée that I have eaten there was just a small portion ( maybe a quarter) covered with toffee. The churros were delicious. In conclusion we enjoyed our meal and drinks ( sangria) but left feeling disappointed with some aspects.

Visited this restaurant with a group of nine and we had a great night. Service was friendly and spot on, the food was great. They handled it all well, food and drinks out in a timely manner.

Had the paella with seafood for two. I have truly with all sincerity never had a dish this bad. This "paella" amounted to a pale wet yellow rice with seafood and a little tomato with two small cubes of chicken. No saffron. No garlic. No spice of any kind and I suspect not cooked in a paella pan. No senia or bomba round rice. It was just limp wet boiled type rice. We had to drown it in salt and pepper and it was still bland.The churros were basic and chewy, not offensive just very basic. This is the biggest rip off ever. Hogalot says REWARD THE GOOD PUNISH THE BAD: Verdict: Avoid at all costs.
