This restaurant is unexpectedly very good. Dined here as staying at the hotel to break up drive to Adelaide. Relatively small menu- but my on my the food was terrific I had the fish of the day (barramundi on a smoked cauliflower purée with hazelnuts)....This dish arrived and I thought this is going to be dry- absolutely not. Fabulous crispy skin but delicious and most in side. Best fish dish I have had in a while. My sister had the chicken dish. Again really good- crispy skin appears to be the specialty! We both ended up having desert- both yum Restaurant was half full so appears well supported. Will stay and dine here again on way back.More

Where do I start. Worst restaurant experience I have had in years if not decades. From The lady with the clipboard who did nothing except write on her clipboard, to being forgotten when we were sat down , to waiting for nearly two hours to...receive our entrees , to getting our mains whilst we were eating our entrees , to a French Onion Soup which was green in colour and gelatinous, to forgetting our sides, to not topping up our water, to not being asked if we wanted another drink and watching this poor family sitting next to us who also waited and THEN having only one child’s pasta arrive and have to wait another 20 mins for the next . Not sure what’s going on but the untrained in experienced staff must be dealing with a kitchen that has zero idea of how to manage meal service. Gordon Ramsay where are you? This restaurant is part of the Mercure. Accor I would think seriously about linking my good name to it!More

I just want to pay tribute to the staff at Azzuri on Sunday 11 Sept 2022. Despite some delay in the delivery of our meal, service staff Kayla and April were professionally superb in their response offering us ongoing apologies and a complimentary drink each...- both were much appreciated. However their efforts were surpassed by Chef ( and apologies for not getting his name) who produced two magnificent meals - a pork ribeye and lamb rump to die for!!! Topped with a side of sautéd baby veg with mushroom glaze this meal ranked as the best since well before the invention of COVID!! As we were staying at the Motel we decided to dine at the restaurant. The food was of good quality and staff were very attentive. It was an enjoyable meal but the restaurant lacks atmosphere. We had a table for two along the wall with...bench seats. Right next to us was a table of four people virtually within touching distance. They were loud and did not do the meal experience justice. Definitely no social distancing in place. The table layout within the restaurant is poor for an evening meal.More

Went with a group of six. Great food well presented, nice venue, but slow on service and small serves. Had to finish meal with a top-up when I got home. One out of six orders mucked up. Rating for value based on serving size.

Food was AMAZING! Service was fantastic. Sad it wasn’t busy as it lacked a little atmosphere but honestly the food was so good it made up for it.

Located inside the Mecure which was a trick we had to find out about. Good parking. Atmosphere was not what I might expect from this place. It was a bit stark perhaps a style and the colours and decor I am not used to or...like used. Nevertheless, the service was excellent with a good range of foods and a very good range of wines. Multiple choices available by the glass which is one of my bugs that most places have one or two. Desserts were exception and the Churro was gigantic enough for two. Our main meals were well cooked and presented . Food was fresh and we were very happy.More

An excellent menu and very tasty meals considering the difficult times of the COVID restrictions. A very good wine list featuring local wineries

Stopped for a coffe and muffin they were both good would recommend ,friendly staff very helpful nice surroundings

Look forward to having dinner here. Table was next to the Fireplace, nice place to be when winter sets in, sipping a nice wine over dinner and enjoying the fire. Ordered Steak with Red Wine Jus. Loved the Onion Rings, next time l am going...to order a double serve. Looking forward to the new seasonal menu, the next time. Always enjoy returning to my favourite Country Hotel.More

I am only giving this many stars as we waited an hour and a half for our meal. They lost the docket wasn't until we asked 45 minutes later. When the food did arrive we couldn't fault it. It was amazing just the right amount...of spice and temperature. The restaurant was clean and fresh. The staff were professional and friendly if only it wasn't nearly forgotten about.More
