I was really excited to have a new wine bar to try in town, but unfortunately was left disappointed with my experience. Going not long after the second Victorian lockdown ended we had a two hour window to be there. We would have ordered many...more drinks in this time, but found the service to be quite slow, often finding it hard to get staff’s attention. The first bottle I ordered to share with friends was a white wine. This was collected from a cupboard, behind my friends chair, who had to get up several times to allow them to get wine from this cupboard. When receiving it and asking if it had been chilled, I was abruptly told I could have an ice bucket. I didn’t particularly want the wine room temp to warm... but it had been opened and I felt I was going to have to pay either way, so I paid for wine I didn’t particularly want in the end. This is walking distance to a lot of my friends homes that went with me, so we were very excited to have something close by, but unfortunately were left not wanting to attend again.More

The wine bar has a wonderful ambience with seating in the renovated homestead or outdoors in the lovely courtyard. Staff were knowledgeable about the local wines and service was great. We sat inside as there was a function outdoors. Snapped these shots after the function...guests had gone. Would definitely visit again and sit in the garden area next time.More
