We were staying at Sebel Creswick for a week as well as one night at RACV Creswick. Each night the Springs Cafe had different themed food trucks instead of their normal menu so I popped up regularly to see what was being offered. East India...Trading had some Indian Food nights but what appealed to me was the Lebanese night. They were offering a Mezze Platter for $25 which included Lamb Koftas, Marinated chicken, Falafels, Babaghonush, Tzatiki, Hummus,mixed olives, stuffed vine leaves, Lebanese Bread and pickled vegetables. Let me start off with the good. The food was sensational and I couldn't fault any of the food and the meats and falafel were tender, juicy and delicious. However for $25 it didn't offer good value, and I thought the serving sizes were far too small. I have had several Mezze Platters in Melbourne that were much more substantial for a similar price. However as I said previously I could not fault the food, and the friendly customer service at the food van was excellent.More

The East India Food truck was set up around the corner from our place. We walked round with kids to grab tea. Very friendly service and a complimentary pappadam while we waited. Ordered a couple of entree’s and two mains and rice. All ready in...about 7 minutes. The Garlic naan is amazing. You’ll also go a long way to find a better butter chicken.
