We had their small pizza deal delivered to the Tanjil Motor Inn. A small seafood pizza a and a pepperoni pizza with a small garlic pizza. Slightly more expensive than Dominos but with much more cheese. It was very filling and delicious.

Placed an order on line it indicated 45 minutes and my pizzas would be delivery - Live in the centre of town so not too far from the shop ....1 hour and 40 minutes later the order eventually arrived!!!!! 4 different pizzas (lamb, meatball, meat...and bruschetta) all tasted very similar and quite bland ..won’t be heading backMore

Recently stayed in a bairnsale motel and could not be bothered going out for dinner so ordered a Pizza from Big Als and glad i did as it was one of the best Pizzas i have ever had since Pizzas came to Australia.((Poppas pizzas) Five...dollars delivery but not a problem.I carnt understand the other reviews but i know its fairly new to the City but they have their act together.Delivery fast and efficient.More

Thought our regular pizza shop was getting slack so tried Big Al's. Very happy. Great pizza's and the home delivery deal was good. Will be ordering from Big Al's again

Ive never negatively reviewed a food place before but theae guys have deserved that honor. This is the second time we have ordered here and both times they had run out of what we wanted by 7pm. That aside we found stuff to order and...it can only be called stuff because it certainly isnt food. The ribs i ordered were inedible. The fat on them wasnt even cooked and hadnt been rendered down at all. The sauce was tasteless and was like it wad brushed on as an afterthought. Maybe i xan throw it all in the bin and eat the pizza. NO. as a previous person said save the box throw the pizza. I dont mind paying a good price for good food but this was horrid food at a premium price. Dont do it. McCains at coles will be much better than any option you can get here. Dissapointed doesnt even start to describe this muck.More

I'd like to say I could fins something positive to comment on about Big Al's in Bairnsdale but to be honest I cannot. We had pre-ordered pizza, waited 10 minutes for the girl on the counter to stop filing her nails in order to serve,...she was a rude little cow, by the stage our pizzas had been sitting on the ned of the oven going cold for all 10 minutes. The pizzas them selves were like cardboard. The olives tasted off, the "ham" (extended shredded soy protein) was sour and the base had a similarity to cardboard. Should have stuck with AJ's or Mr Pizza both are significantly better (actually even Dominos would have been a significant step up). As a food industry professional the food handling observed during the wait was marginal. Seriously for $42 for 3 large pizzas, a garlic bread and 1.25lt drink - we would have got better from Coles if we'd purchased McCain frozen pizzas!!!!!More

Looking for something for take away dinner after 8.30 and found Big Al's. lots of different pasta types to choose with an assortment of toppings. I has a tortellini with carbonara sauce - one of the best I have had. Pizzas look pretty good too...and everything was reasonably priced. Will come back next time I am in Bairnsdale.More
