We came here for a large family dinner. The curries and naan were good. It was probably a little pricey for the size, but we were not disappointed.

We were in Launceston for a week and bumped into this place on night 1. the food was well prepared, quick, and with good sized serves. The staff were attentive without being overly so. We enjoyed the food that much that we went back a second time, which was a first for us when travelling!

Absolutely Avoid this place...Had to request multiple times to bring some water and note down orders for my group of 11 people...Atlast , after 1 hr 10 mins wait , the waiter came over and informed us some of the items that we had ordered was unavailable & we need to re-order those items....And he had the audacity to inform... Well cooked and nicely presented meals. Staff were attentive and not intrusive. Usual range of Indian options with a few Chef's specials. Arrived in good time, and reasonable sized serves. As with this style of eating some side dishes, naan etc are required but it was still not expensive for what we had. Been there before and would go again.

We only ordered a course each which was all we needed and some bread. Lovely flavours and although does not look much, was plenty of food. Service was quick and friendly. Don't worry about the surrounds, the food was very good. Recommend it.

Forget the cricket, the Indian Empire hits back. Just had a most delicious meal including Butter Prawn, chicken korma, lamb spinach together with naan and jasmine rice. Sensational flavours in a very well cooked curry. Kingfishers also went down well!

We eat here when we travel to Launceston. I ate here twice last week and being vegetarian there are plenty of options. Try to the Kofta Balls medium and the garlic naan. I don't think you are going to do any better in Launceston.

Best onion bhaji and garlic naan! Had chicken saagwala and a spiced up beef korma. The chicken was tasty, the beef tender - lovely tasty meal with plenty to eat. Staff were attentive without being intrusive.
