Went to La cantina on george st for a quiet cosy dinner. We got a quiet cosy table for 2 in back and the service and food was excellent. Highly recommend a visit if in launceston. They own the takeaway and do delivery to.

Real Italian home made food and service. Lasagna and veal cooked to perfection. Nothing flash about the decor but you know it's authentic by the smells from the kitchen Highly recommended

Great little spot in the middle of Launceston. Friendly welcome, water on table. Fast order taken, super fast delivery. Salad and garlic pizza, cold drinks. Delicious veal (with mushrooms & prawns), pasta (perfect chilli mix). Gelato and coffee. Just lovely.

Great unpretentious Italian food. The staff were so lovely with our 3 children and they loved drawing on the paper table cloth. Loved the homemade pasta and the kids loved their pizza.
