Enjoyed a meal with friends. Beautiful food, couldn't fault it or the excellent service. Meals were small. We ordered extra side of fries. One had the Atlantic salmon which was $38. A small serve to say the least.

Found this place by accident when walking by dockside. Had some oysters and wine outside looking at the water and booked table for next night. Service, food, wine, cider all excellent. This place is a must to visit.

Ordered the seafood platter for two and it was overrated. The oysters were fresh, grilled salmon and fried fish was nice. But everything else was just not up to standard. The prawns were disgusting! Not fresh at all. I will not be visiting again as it's expensive and food wasn't nice.

Located with water views and good food. We enjoyed the tempura fish. Expensive overall with $125 for just 2 courses and one glass of wine each.

Kreglinger vintage was perfectly chilled (and fresh). Scallops and prawns crispy, and the chips we shared were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and hot! Wait staff very good. Bread to start with was a beautiful texture and full of flavour. We asked for butter instead of the oil - easily provided and with salt crystals on top... More

We visited Hallam's for my company's Christmas lunch. The entree of tempura prawns was great, the accompanying sweet chilli sauce was one of the best I have tasted. For main I had white fish in a coconut broth, the broth had an amazing flavour but unfortunately the fish was so over cooked it was really dry and hard to chew,... More

This is our first stop in Tassie and dine here with husband. Nice food. What we order is a combination of seafood platter and chip & fish seems their signature dish! I think it's because of Cod fish. The seafood platter included 12 ouster and they are yummy and fresh. Same order in each table. Nice staff but a bit... More

Over the years, I have had many good meals (seafood curry) and several not so good, eg fish bones in flathead fillets. Service is often slow.

Went here for a couples dinner. Nice atmosphere and building. Starters were dumplings and prawns. Both were ok but overpriced and incorrectly flavored. Mains were coconut broth and salmon. Both were good. It was a hot night but waiters seemed more interested in chatting and fiddling with their computers than either taking our desert order or getting us some water.... More

Pricey for what we got. Cerviche kingfish just ok, not cold enough, scallops great but tiny serve. Side salad was nice and squid only had 4 small pieces.

Thank Kathy M
