Called in to Elaia for brunch/ early lunch with my family. The Eggs Benedict were cooked well with a tasty Hollandaise Sauce. The Chorizo / Haloumi poached eggs were also very good. Service was friendly and efficient.

Waitress very friendly but disappointed in the meal. Ordered the Prawn salad and at just under $30 we got 3 prawns with some lettuce and a few other bits. Way too over priced. Prawns did not taste fresh either. Very poor value.

We walked past in the afternoon and my daughter saw someone having a late afternoon lunch of pork belly. We made a reservation for that night. It was as good as it looked.

We often travel to Launceston and this cafe has been a regular. However the last two trips have been a tad disappointing. On the first trip the potato and Leek soup was a little lacking in flavour. On the second trip I was disappointed when...More
