I used to love going to this restaurant but was rather disappointed with my last visit. The service was so slow and the menu has now become ridiculously expensive for what you get. I can't believe that some items are now in the $36 bracket...More

The reason you "can't believe some items are now in the $36 bracket" is because THERE IS NONE. Nothing on our menu is priced at $36 or more. The most expensive is our Angus Scotch fillet steak and our seafood which are priced at $34....More

We really enjoyed dinner here - pizza and three pasta dishes. Good solid traditional Italian peasant food, that would be served in many Italian kitchens. Pasta was fresh and al dente.

Ok food. Place was a bit out dated. Pasta was extremely oily to the point we threw half out. Not the traditional Italian we are used to in Sydney.

We had not booked and although the restaurant was busy we were found a table - but found the server to be less than interested in anything other than taking our order as quickly as she could - there was no small talk or chat....More

Ordered a few different pizzas from here and was disappointed with them. Flavours just weren't there, and they were very slap n go. Nothing special. Parents also went and dined in for dinner the night before and said the service was poor and food was...More

Was looking forward to some great pasta, the menu didn't offer to many tomato based pasta dishes, most was creamy sauces. No margharita pizza on the menu either. We finally decided on a "Napoltana" and a sphagetti marinara. The dishes came out too quick which...More

Out of the 12 pasta dishes we have on our menu EIGHT of them are tomato based red sauces. FOUR of them are cream based. Our pizza dough is hand made daily on the premises, the great big dough rolling machine as you walk in...More

The decor is very dated. The troupe l'oeil adds to the outdated look. We were seated by the waitress and there was only 4 other people in the restaurant. Some time later she returned to take our drinks order. We sat down and the owner/manager...More

Not much can be said, since you have already made your opinion that you dislike your experience.. It's disappointing to read someone telling people to avoid our family run business, who has employed many Tasmanians over a span of forty years. One discrepancy I will...More

Good balance in taste and portions. We are vegetarians and had a few choices. But they said they could make any vegetarian if we wanted. Would dine again if we are back in Launceston. Great food and always busy.
