Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

This 100% gluten free cafe became one of my favourite cafes to visit to whilst staying in Launceston. I was only there for a week, I went around 4 times + a few takeaway orders. The vibes immaculate, super cosy and the staff. Incredible and...the owners, some of kindest, bubbly and welcoming people I’ve ever come in to contact with. To see items that are not normally available to see a coeliac, was on the goosebump level. I was in awe every time I visited. Immensely delicious food. Next time I visit Australia I would come to Tasmania just to visit this cafe🤌🏼🥰More

This place is 100% gluten free. We has the Burger of the day with side of chips. The burger was perfect as were the chips. Not greasy at all. We also had a pot of tea for two. Pleasant to have leaf tea for a...change.More

The first thing you notice is the quirky decor - an eclectic mix of everything odd! In contrast there is nothing odd about the food or service - the menu has a good selection of dishes and the front of house staff are excellent. Service...was timely and all our dishes were tastyMore

Delicious, flavourful food and the friendliest service in town! We had the waffles (super fluffy with generous toppings), and the brekky roll (the beetroot relish is to die for!). The house-made hash browns are a must-try.

We popped in for a coffee and were not disappointed. A charming place with very helpful staff. We were touring Tasmania and covering the island by car and on foot. We were staying in Perth with family and decided to visit Tasmania for a month...and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. We recommend Samuel Pepys Cafe for a good coffee and general faire.More

On a weekend stay in Launceston we were looking for a breakfast spot that was open on a Sunday. Found this place and loved it and kudos to the owners for opening on Sunday. There were so many people there, other cafes need to sit...up and take notice. Meanwhile, loved the food and the service. Sadly the place was way too cramped with so many people but as mentioned, there few other places to go for a Sunday breakie.More

I loved this gem of a cafe. The decor so quirky and cosy was a good start, but come for the food! Multiple delicious gluten free and vego options is a real treat.

Toasties (with lactose free cheese, and gluten free bread) were a major highlight! Having an entire gluten free menu must be really great for those who are allergic or coeliac. As the risk of contamination is high in mixed establishments. The breaky burger was too...sweet, and the waffles were obviously gluten free (tougher) - but nothing significant enough to stop me from returning to try other items. If you have intolerances, would recommend a toastie without any hesitationMore
