In town for work. We (my work college and I) stopped off for breakfast which was definitely worth the stop. I had an avo smash was yummy and a great potion size. The staff were also very accommodating, as we ordered breakfast before the kitchen opened and the food was bought out shortly after the opening time. Strongly recommended for visit. We’ll be back again for breakfast.

One of the best omelettes I've had in a long time! Their omelette of the day is determined by what fresh produce they have from the day before so it's always changing. Ours had beetroot in it and was a revelation! My wife said the coffee was great. We don't live in Launceston but if we did we would be there every week. Also quality music for those of us who picked & appreciated it was the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack.

Cannot fault one moment. Cappuccino, Sweetbrew Steamed Eggs and a cold brew. Everything was so flavoursome. The service great and staff enthusiastic. The place is a maze of different rooms with a really nice charm. Thank you.

Very disappointed! Service was very poor, coffee was Luke warm and waited over half an hour for breakfast when it wasn’t full. After waiting 30 minutes, we asked one of the waitresses to find out how long our food would be as we had an appointment to get to, she said she would go find out however never came back to our table to inform us! We went up to the front to cancel our food order as we couldn’t get anyone else’s attention and were told we should be expecting a wait that long as they were “busy” and that wouldn’t choose their cafe if we couldn’t wait at least 30 minutes for food. Disappointed and wouldn’t return

Called in at 1.50pm today asking if we could have a table for lunch. Waitress advised that kitchen was now closed. Very surprised considering there was range of items already prepared in the showcase. Went across the road to Pepe's and had a lovely lunch and coffee with excellent service. We had a perfect view of Sweetview and at least one person was served food after we left.... I guess it could have been a staff member but didn't look that way. Unfortunately can't leave a comment on the food or coffee. Will try another time as most of the reviews are good.

My friend and I decided to go for a walk one morning and bought a takeaway coffee from a coffee shop on Charles Street. By the time we arrived in George Street we were hungry and thought we would stop in at Sweetbrew for an early breakfast. The owner came out and advised us that she doesn’t normally serve people who have other branded coffees but she would make an exception for us today. She then went on to tell us that it was unkind + hurtful to do this. We were only trying to support local and thought the patronage would have been appreciated. We canceled our order and both commented on what would have been a lovely morning had now been tainted and had left us feeling like bad people. I understand there are some places that frown upon this, but in a sea of cafes, coffee shops and restaurants- wouldn’t it be better to look after the customers who support your business + livelihood. Terrible service.

Food was presented very well. Had high expectations for the coffee which earned the average score of this review. As a recommendation I think the omelette really lacked flavour it was literally just greens and eggs and did not come with any sourdough which is a general standard. Our chairs were also not very comfy but that could have been specific to our table. Please also put salt and pepper on tables! As I was only in town for one morning I did regret not going to Bryher.

My husband and I had a cup of latte each this morning, I had egg omelette with mushroom and my husband had a bowl of granola withyogurt, fruits and nuts. Both of our meal was very delicious. I accidentally toppled my glass of latte and the staff noticed it and one staff quickly wiped it clean and I profusely apologised for it and he said it was not a problem and another staff made sure that I had a fresh glass of latte, I apologised and he too said that's ok. He didn't want me to miss out on my glass of latte :). Very thoughtful and kind of them đź’–

Came across this place after an early morning wake up in need of some good coffee and better breakfast. After doing some quick research we decided we’d walk down the street to give this place a try. Welcomed by lovely and obliging staff and a cozy atmosphere the experience was off to a good start. The coffee however was somewhat bitter and a little on the cooler side (perhaps this is just personal opinion as they seemed to be busy with many regulars drinking the same coffee). The food on the other hand was absolutely amazing; fresh, generous, hot and full of flavour. We ordered the smashed avo (added an extra egg) and the baked chilli eggs (with GF toast - absolutely divine) Definitely a worthwhile breakfast!

First time going to Sweetbrew but won’t be the last. Coffee was great. Loved the little swan in the coffee art. Had two cups. But Oh My Stars! - the Turmeric Oven Cakes! Clouds of golden loveliness blessed with sweet caramelised bananas, drizzled with fresh passion fruit, lightly sprinkled with chopped hazelnuts and the most delectable nugget of orange and cardamom infused butter slowly melting into the pile of bliss. This dish was a delight and it made me very happy!

To be fair I have to say straight off the bat the food is generally delicious. These guys know how to make vegetarian food scrumptious. The service however is so inconsistent, often rude, offhanded, messy, like nobody really knows what’s going on. I have just had enough of it. I did complain nicely once to the owner and that got me nowhere, other interactions with the owner have been rude. It feels like management are well aware they are popular, have great food and perhaps don’t need to worry about service. Often items on the menu are not available or sold out which I find odd to sell out of something at 11.30am. I may visit again but it is certainly not my first choice.

Stopped in here by chance as it looked busy and I was wanting a good coffee. We didn’t have a booking but the staff member who greeted us was welcoming and told us there had just been a cancellation so we were seated right away. The menu (that I quickly realised was vegetarian by the absence of bacon whilst telling myself to stay put and give the place a go) had a great selection to choose from. The whole place had a lovely atmosphere, a buzz of music, work and chatter. It’s clearly very busy and popular spot with locals. The staff were calm and friendly the whole time as they went about taking orders, serving and seating the constant flow of diners. When my coffee arrived it was good but not amazing, the smashed avocado looked great and I’m told was very good. I had the soup of the day that was pumpkin and cauliflower with a sprinkle of chilli and shredded coconut on top. An interesting combination that I wouldn’t choose again. The sourdough toast it was served with was divine though and I wish I could have take a load home with me. An enjoyable experience and if in Launceston again I might go back if only for that sourdough.

Partner and I stopped here for breakfast on Day 1 of our honeymoon and were not disappointed. Espresso was delish... but somehow our meals were even better. The depth of flavour in the Shakshuka was particularly impressive, as was the range of meals to cater for dietary requirements. So happy with the service that we dropped in the following morning for takeaway espresso! Thanks team keep it up

Starting with excellent service from the friendly team we knew we were onto a winner! Great strong coffee with no doubt about how to make a traditional macchiato. Food was excellent, fresh and flavoursome with very generous servings and reasonably priced. Great vibe!

Many seating options in multiple rooms, offering very good coffee but the menu is only vegetarian-no protein other than eggs or halloumi. I felt the service provided was a little off - the staff exude a "cool" "trendy" "hipster" style in the culture there. Food was good, especially the porridge interpretation.
