Nothing flash here just an old style place selling old style light food and main meals but doing it very well. Old style quality and remarkably good coffee. Lower end prices and, relief, relief, low cost sweet snacks to go with the tea/coffee.

Like the previous post, I must have walked past many times but so glad I found it on my 2nd last day. The Chicken Caesar Salad was amazing and such a generous serving. The ladies running this cafe are so friendly and efficient. From the front you don't realise how it opens at the rear. A must visit when in... More

Hiding away in a quirky laneway, Kameo Coffee Lounge, offers a tranquil atmosphere to relax while enjoying a coffee and a snack. I must've walked past the entrance on a busy street, but found this cafe when wandering towards The Quadrant. Lovely friendly staff and quick efficient service.

We've been to Kameo on previous visits to Launceston and have found the food like a good old fashioned hearty fare. The menu is extensive, they do a hearty breakfast, really tasty food, generous servings. The staff are friendly and efficient, right up to the owner. A good first choice in Launceston for breakfast/brunch.

This little cafe is right in the cbd its a gem. Arrived from qld yesterday so my first toasted egg and bacon sandwich in Launceston - absoluely beautiful, bacon cooked well - egg perfect and toast not looking anemic. Staff welcoming and service great - well done Kameo management you have nailed it.

Each time the staff were friendly ,professional and provided prompt service. The prices for the coffees were cheaper than compared to some cafes in Launceston This café provides table service but due to the unusual shape... More

We love this timeless little cafe, it has been one of my old favourites since I was a child, you can always count on something yummy to fill you up. Love their pâté which is made on site, served with plenty of toast and salad, top it off with your favourite pot of tea 'old Style' and your guaranteed to... More

I lunched with a friend and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at the café. We both had open toasted sandwiches which were delicious, with good coffee. The service was friendly and efficient.
