Love the cactus. Always a good night out with friends but a bit loud for an intimate dinner for 2. Big serving sizes, you'll never leave hungry thats for sure.

First time I have been here. Came with family and was not disappointed. The food was really nice and quite big portions. I had the Chimichanga which was very nice and my husband had the Fajitas which he enjoyed as well. The staff are very friendly and we didn't have to wait long for our meals.

Our family love Mexican food, so we headed here for dinner during our stay in Launceston. I would say this is a 'Mexican inspired' restaurant. Meaning the food was tasty and they have all the usual meals (burritos/tacos/nachos etc), but certainly need to amp up the Mexican flavours. The chicken in my boy's tacos was not cooked in any spices,... More

We dropped in here to satisfy our sudden craving for Mexican food without a reservation but were warmly greeted and seated. The wait staff were friendly enough and the food while wasn't the best Mexican we've had it definitely satisfied our craving. The food was very fresh and quickly served, it tasted good and was more than enough to fill... More

Have been to this restaurant a number of times. Always friendly service, with reliably good food. The cactuses make a nice addition to the Mexican feel, and can be a great place to do some people watching while your at it. If going with a group might be worth calling ahead to make a booking.

We came in off the street to find this little gem in Launceston. A fun little venue with lovely friendly staff, very tasty food (large portions) and fun cocktails to share served in a fishbowl! Prices were reasonable too, definitely recommended for date nights.

The Mexican fare, while the taste not as intense as it should be, was still very good. The atmosphere is conducive to having a good time & the staff great.

Prickly cactus is in the centre of Launceston, very easy to fins and their meals are excellent value and excellent taste. YUM.

Went here with my friend for a casual dinner. Meals and drinks came out quickly. The air was warm outside so the sliding doors leading outside were opened letting in a nice breeze. Nice atmosphere, nice food, great fishbowls (especially in happy hour)
