Positives first: Staff were friendly and attentive, food was served quickly (perhaps they should have taken a bit more time though). I had the "seafood dippers" main, so can't comment about the rest of the menu. Negatives: Everything about this meal seemed like cheap "no frills" bulk catering supply ingredients. Squid rings were so mushy it was questionable as to... More

We visited on a midweek night with moderate number of tables occupied. We were seated quickly and drinks arrived probably once ordered. The menu had a good range of choices and the mains that arrived were generous and tasted very nice.

We were greeted at the door by the friendly staff. We didn't have a booking and were lucky to get in. So glad we did. That food was brilliant and the service top rate. Would highly recommend the Prickly Cactus to anyone.

Wow! Firstly the customer service is awesome. We were constantly checked on to see if everything was to our liking and if we needed anything else. This was by all staff and not just the dedicated waiter. The flavours and the freshness of the food was so good! We had the cactus bread to start. So tasty. I had the... More

We had a late dinner being the last and only customers left in the restaurant. The waiter (unfortunately I forgot to ask for his name) was extremely nice and made us feel really comfortable. The food was really good, I reccomend the prawn and avocado salad for a light but satisfying meal.

Birthday party of 12, some who were cautious about spicy mexican food - no worries! Food flavours were delicious and not hot. Vegetarians and children catered for. Prices a bit on the high side but the meals were enjoyed.

A nice, easy meal suitable for all ages. Suits all tastes, and can be 'spiced up' if desired. On the pricey side, but that seems to be all of Tassie anyway!
