great food, disappointing that have been attending the establishment for many years on a regular basis but they fail to acknowledge return, long term supporters of the establishment. This does not seem to affect the crowds! Or us who continue to visit because of the amazing food 10/10

We had to start the spring rolls and chicken satay. Did not disappoint👌 i then had the prawn red curry n my partner had the star beef .... his dish was unbelievable. Mine was on point but i had to say i had serious food envy. Would recommend to anyone looking for tasty, fresh, none expensive food.

Booked to go to Star of Siam as had been before when last inn Launceston. Got a table - very busy with loads of people waiting as not too many restaurants open on the day. Looked at the menu - special menu for the public holiday which is Ok but when you double the prices that is not. Very slow... More

We ordered Tom yum soup and lab beef for lunch. The Tom yum soup was not as expected, too salty and sweet. Lab beef as well was very salted. Overall the food was not good and the price is very expensive for a small proportion of food. We don't mind paying the price as long as the food is good... More

This place has a great review & totally true. Our 2nd time here and the food is authentic & tasty. We dined on Boxing Day which has a rather expensive menu with Pad Thai Chicken at $25.80. Will be back again but will try to avoid Public Holidays as their pricing is quite high!

If you are looking for the best Thai you can get in Launceston, Star of Siam is the place. Good portion sizes, great service and a nice central location. This is a favourite of my families for all occasions

When the rice was delivered to our table I thought that there was a mistake as it felt that we had only just ordered, not so, all the meals come out it was great. Had plenty to eat and the bill easy to handle.

We visited here by chance on our visit to Launceston. When travelling we always like to visit a Thai restaurant because we are so limited where we come from. We were not disappointed. We enjoyed tom yum soup, money bags entre, followed by a massuman and panang curries. Really lovely food.

Saturday night dinner in Launceston and this centrally located restaurant proved to be a good choice. I would advise booking ahead as the place is not large and was full for our visit. The menu has plenty of variety and the meals we chose were all tasty and arrived quickly which is usual in many Asian restaurants where food is... More

Had a light meal for two and was surprised how expensive a Thai meal costs in Tassie, this Star of Siam charged for each scope of rice, two dishes later and copped a bill over 60 bucks not including drinks....
