Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Great fresh takeaway orange ginger and turmeric juice with the best Nasi Goreng I’ve had anywhere. 2 big beautiful eggs on top and so delicious. Can’t wait for another serve. Sunny walk to side door with fresh herbs and vegetables along the way and an outdoor sunny seat while you wait. I’ve had delicious hot coffee here too with the freshest spring rolls. Can’t fault this friendly Cafe

I have lunched at this place three times now , and have not been disappointed . The Nasi Goreng is excellent, and there are other choices on the menu. What I like about this eatery, is that it is not pretending to be anything more that a provider of good food for people, with fine wine. The prices are right, the staff are attentive, and good quality food is timely delivered . The venue is clean and fresh.

Well worth visiting. Food is interesting and specials appear to change often. Not many places locally cater really well for vegetarians or vegans, so a this is a great addition to the Launceston cafe scene. Also great for omnivores in the mood for a light meat-free meal. The modern industrial decor with opening window is pleasantly airy.

Very pleasant space with lots of tables and stools at a long bench. Had breakfast/coffee and juice here on three occasions during our trip to Launceston. First two were weekdays then the last on a Saturday. Coffee and orange juices (which came with a piece of dried orange on top on weekdays, but not weekends) definitely better on weekdays though not cheap at $8-00 each. Metal straws were very good. Food good and staff friendly.

Have just returned home after a family dinner at this great little vegetarian cafe. Vegan and gluten free meals available. My some was particularly impressed with the plant-based 'chicken' and the Nasi Goreng that I had was scrumptious. Beers, wine and soft drinks available. Staff friendly and attentive. Will definitely return (though I am a meat lover!).

No problems accommodating GF/Vegans with a number of really tasty options. We opted for the Nasi Goreng and the Pad See Ew. Coffee was really good too and everything came quickly. We would definitely make this a regular spot if we lived locally. Service was great.

So far this is definitely my favourite food in Launceston and I am not a vegetarian! The food is very tasty , perfect serving sizes and not overdone . The porridge is the best porridge I have ever had - and I have eaten a lot of porridge ! Great ambiance and very friendly staff as well . Highly recommended 👍🏼

Well, changed my mind about this place. Initially the couple of times I went, the food was pretty bland - however - had a very nice visit since. Enjoyed one of their special items - cauliflower with pear, blue cheese and hazelnuts. Delicious! Will return if it remains as tasty as that. Service great.

Love the food, service and atmosphere here. We have eaten here at least five or six times when shopping or visiting Launceston. The food is so fresh and cooked perfectly. Great range of interesting specials always on blackboard. Great coffee and range of fresh juices. Sweets are always fresh and tasty. Well worth a visit if you love fresh, healthy food.

Best lunch I have had in Lonnie in 3 years. My partner and I since the pandemic have largely been disappointed by the dining we have had, in Australia, Thailand and Malaysia. Prices have risen, quality ranges widely. However, this was the best tasting, good value lunch we have had this year. Josef Chromy was better but at over twice the price. It reminds me of the best places I have dined in Melbourne. Bit like what you may find in Fitzroy. Menu has something for contemporary dimers. Vegetarian , gluten free, all with an Asian touch. Most sensibly small menu but with a good range of specials. Drinks were vg too! Everything we ate was top notch. Service excellent. Setting is excellent too. We definitely will be returning. Highly recommended.

Outstanding. The service was fantastic - friendly, genuine and quick. The food was divine. As a veggo, it was so nice to see such a range of delicious food, presented perfectly. There is plenty of space and the atmosphere was really welcoming. Definitely will go back

This was a real find. Calm, light airy space decorated with prints made by students at a local school. Varied vegetarian menu with lots of vegan and GF options. Scrambled eggs and poached eggs done to perfection.

I came here for breakfast with friends and then also back a few days later for lunch solo and it was just a lovely experience. The menu is exciting and incredibly fresh and tasty food that is properly seasoned with herbs. I got the Croque Madame for breakky and I would 100% recommend

enjoyed a lovely salad here with my friend, so returned later and ordered a more adventurous meal. I ordered gluten free, which is very important for me as I have a serious allergy. However, shortly after eating, I was majorly sick. I can no longer recommend this cafe, as unfortunately, they clearly don't take allergies seriously. Do not eat here if you are a coeliac.

Good morning, thank you for taking the time to let us know about your experience with us! We are terribly sorry that this happened - we do take allergies very seriously and have now taken further precautions to ensure oil in the fryer is now completely gluten free. We do normally advise at the time of ordering that there is a risk of some gluten contamination as we are not solely a gluten free cafe. However this must not have been communicated to you on that day. Our apologies again.

Outrageously good food in a different location away from the George St cafe scene. Neither myself or partner are vegeterian/vegan, but we'd heard great things. Been back three times now as it's just a lovely quiet place to enjoy healthy food. The interior is really neat and well styled. Only thing I've found is possibly a negative (at a stretch), is the waiting staff are so laid back they almost seem bored/disintrested at times hahah!
