Takeaway or drink in, the coffee is great and the scrolls amazing. Service is special with most customers able to be welcomed to their store by first name. That shows repeat business is what happens there. Very very busy but worth the wait which is most acceptable.

Huge, welcoming smiles from every member of staff when I went in. I was there for less than five minutes for two take-away coffees and came out feeling really happy and with what turned out to be the best dang coffee I’ve had all week. Gotta go to Bay Blue if you’re in town.

Not only was my coffee delicious, the recommendation of a savoury muffin with relish "spot on", but Nathan's subsequent help in solving a problem was kind and unexpectedly generous.
It's clear why this establishment is well regarded - rated #1 - by locals and visitors alike!

Visited this cafe because of the high trip advisor rating. My coffee (flat white) had a nasty aftertaste and the toasted banana bread showed no sign of banana taste. The young lady serving was perfunctory with no smile or cheerful disposition. The man working the coffee machine did however cheerfully acknowledge me from his work station as I departed leaving half a cup of very ordinary coffee as it was too bad to finish.
Decor was ok, location was ok but my experience did not even come close to the high ranking on trip advisor reviews.

We have found it incredibly hard to find a decent coffee on the Limestone Coast. Hallelujah for finding Bay Blue. Great coffee, fantastic staff and the yummiest cinnamon scroll ever. We will be back every day to get our caffeine fix while on holidays.

By far the best coffee we found in Mount Gambier (after hunting extensively for a week - I admit I’m a coffee snob). It was so good I bought a bag of beans to take home. Add in big warm smiles, great service and truly delicious toasties and banana bread… just perfect. Our second week in town we never went anywhere else for coffee.

They really do know how to make a good cup of strong coffee here. I had a perfect long black. Good crema. Good temperature. The flat white was excellent too.
And as for their fresh, home baked banana bread….yum! Do try it!

Passing through on way to Adelaide , we noticed this coffee bar open early in the am , and already busy. We stopped, staff were friendly and welcoming. Coffee was fabulous and banana bread and chia puddings were excellent. Obviously popular with early morning walkers and dog owners, we thought it was great place as well. Do yourself favour and drop in

Amazing coffee with exquisite coffee art, sorry I drank it before taking a photo! Had a cinnamon bun and an Anzac caramel slice which were divine. Just stopped here for a quick coffee as we passed through the town. Would highly recommend. Friendly staff too.

Such incredibly friendly service, good atmosphere and very very good coffee. Small business as well. A must stop if you’re looking for nice way to start the day in Mount Gambier.
