Long wait - burgers good

We had to wait nearly 40 mins to get our burgers here after being told it was a 25 min wait. Not the best experience in that sense but the burgers were great so at least it wasn’t a long wait for nothing. The vegetarian option - the Halouminati - was exceptional. Loved the names of the burgers, especially the non meat ones. Would eat here again but would order well ahead by phone!

Best cheeseburger ever

I would rate this place a 6/5 if I could. Stumbled across NBG as we walked back to our caravan park. They had a $8 cheeseburger special which is incredible value. Best cheese burger I’ve ever had and I’ve had burgers all over the world. My other half had the Caesar chicken burger and that was amazing too. Accompanied with sweet potato Fries and onion rings it was actually the highlight from our time in Mount gambier 😂 Highly recommend , thanks guys

Went there as it had good reviews. The place was a little hard to find as its tucked away off the street a little which google maps didn’t pick up on. The burger itself was nice but chips were so salty, I couldn’t finish them. Generous sizes. Staff were super nice, I would go back just based on the service alone.

Trendy, friendly burgers

This little burger restaurant is indeed trendy, friendly and busy with a constant stream of people for takeaways, deliveries and dine ins. A cross section of people who like fun burgers. The Kath and Kim burger and sweet potato chips were delicious!

Homestyle chunky burgers with the most amazing fries and sauce. If you like burgers this place is not too be missed.

I can't fault a single thing with my experience. We were welcomed on entry, ordering was a breeze and of course we went for the meal deal with fries and a drink. Fries arrived quickly but if theyre slightly busy, there's a selection of games on each table to enjoy. Fries were delivered in a basket, hot, crispy with a glorious flavoured salt. I would have been happy if my meal had ended there. But short minutes later my burger arrived. Sadly the special of the day wasn't available as the pickled pineapple was all gone... but the grill master obviously noticed I was disappointed and said he would substitute it for grilled pineapple. Yup, sold. So now I have my beautiful chicken burger with pineapple and slaw... time to squish this sucker down so I can shove it in my gob. Thankfully it compresses well and I can eat it while without having to see it in half. I'll freely admit the pickled pineapple would have lifted it to 6 outa 5 stars, but it was delicious. Three napkins later I was 1 burger down, feeling fairly full, and still had 3/4 of a basket of fries left. The fries ended up defeating me but the challenge was worth it. Oops, almost forgot the sauce. Not sure how, it was an unforgettable experience. Expecting the standard ho-hum chipotle flavour, what I got was a divine, ohh so smokey sauce that you aren't getting out of a bottle. The homestyle sauce was almost as good, but I'm hooked on the chipotle. The only improvement to the whole experience would be a nice comfy lounge pod to sleep off the food coma. Friendly customer service from counter and grill staff, great food, nice new digs with unique art work and upbeat music. Top notch experience, looking forward to coming back for more.

Awesome Burgers and Side!

We were only in Mount Gambier for two nights / one day and highly recommend you visit if you only have a short time here. The burgers were cheap, big, tasty and cooked to perfection. Don't get the hot sauce unless you can really handle the heat though - that's my only recommendation. It killed my tongue but was still awesome. My wife had the GF option and was also impressed.

Best burgers in the Mount

Brilliant burgers, the loaded fries are also top notch. Their house sauce is recommended. Staff are friendly, ambience in-house is good but the music can sometimes be a little loud (or maybe we’re just getting old). I had the Flamin’ Galah, the chicken was nice and crispy, sauce had a good amount of heat but not too much that it was burning my mouth, way too many jalapeños, a good sized fistful at least (and I don’t like them so should’ve ordered them without anyway). The Yeetroot is my usual go-to, 5/5 recommend it. Hubby’s loaded fries actually tasted like an original Big Mac burger without the bun, he still keeps talking about it! Only four stars because, as a semi regular customer, the amount of order mix ups takes it down one. Doesn’t stop us going back though!

Delicious!

If you’re looking for a big dirty burger after a big day (or night ;)) definitely get a burger from these guys 🔥. My partner and I are from Victoria and came in for dinner. We got ourselves the deuce pigalow burger each and it was amazing! The girls were super nice and were served straight away. Thank you for being one of the highlights of our trip! We will be back.

Food great but not Cheep

Seen this shop come up as a No.1 search for cheep food mount gambier, for the cost of 1 burger you can get a pizza that feeds 2 people. Its good food but not cheep.

A hidden surprise

Each time we visit here we are surprised at the wonderful food we are served. Even their van at the Bayside Festival recently, was a surprise, and the food there was different and very enjoyable too.
