Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Ordered lamb years. Made mention that the meat didn't look ready on the spit and was assured they cut it off the souvla and cook it. Hmmmm....not sure about that. Meat still hard to chew and also cold. Not a great experience: won't be back.

Delicious yiros and very tasty chips. Friendly staff and not too long a wait - happy to know the food is freshly prepared.

Having had yiros from a few different souvlaki restaurants in Adelaide this has been the best so far and the closest to the Giros you will find on Skiathos in Greece. The portions are huge and well worth what you pay. The only thing I would like more of is some added herbs and spices on the meat itself. It was so close but not quite there. Having said that I would eat Yiros from Souvlaki Brothers again and again.

I had attempted having a chargrilled yeeros/yiros from this place for some time. Finally, on Tuesday this week my husband and I had a traditional yeeros/yiros wrap and chips. So disappointing, I could have cried: lamb dry and mainly tasteless and any chargrill flavour tasted artificial (almost chemical), garlic sauce watered down, the wrap seemed to be some cheap fall-apart version of a traditional Greek wrap, the chips were soft and droopy, not a crunch in sight and the house seasoning on the chips was just okay. Won't go back...

The staff were very uninterested and unhelpful. The food was nowhere near as good as it used to be. There was a lot of salad a little grisly meat and the supposed haloumi almost non existent. There has to be better in the area

I used to love this place - it’s gone down hill. The meat had no flavour & the bread wasn’t even cooked. Very disappointed to say the least. It used to be amazing here, won’t be back

Came here because we'd heard the reviews; good and bad... ours is all GOOD!. Beautiful yiros combo of chicken and lamb, served promptly and hot. Roll was plentiful at $16.90 which seems pricey but well worth it. If you're looking for a good kebab - get here!... I'd definitely eat here again. Thank you souvlaki bros.

Just had a Cypriot souv very tasteless. No salt I'm not an over the top salt user but this had no flavour. Couldn't taste the haloumi cheese at all. My husband had a Mediterranean one same thing tasteless. We've had souvs from here before and they were delicious not this time. We won't be visiting this establishment ever again.

I had memories of this place serving the tastiest yiros meet so we popped in for a quick dinner after an evening out at Glenelg. The interior is looking a little more worn out than it once did. I had the traditional chicken yiros, my husband had the lamb and chicken AB and we both did not enjoy our food. The meat simply lacked flavour, like it had been boiled, not cooked with any flame or seasoning...even salt! The garlic sauce was the only saving grace to keep it edible. Ridiculous prices for very substandard food. We don’t mind what we pay for a nice meal, but even for a quick dinner it didn’t meet the mark. We won’t be back that’s for sure. Save yourself the waste and try somewhere else while you’re at the bay, you’d easily find more flavour elsewhere!

Being in Adelaide on holiday called for an authentic Greek souvlaki. Unfortunately we didn't find it at this cafe. Not much flavour, pita bread was thick. Location is great, but next time I'll try somewhere else.

Ona cold windy winter evening at the Glenelg square the best comfort you can offer your tummy is the good portioned Souvlaki wrap served by the Souvlaki Brothers. This place is somewhat of a cult as all our friends too recommend it to visitors in Adelaide. While there are others in the area offering similar meals, the location of this place adds to the joy of visiting it, as it's near the sea and end of the Glenelg tram station at the iconic Glenelg square. Summer time is a very busy affair, winters can be a much respite with a hot meaty Souvlaki in a beautifully flavoured wrap/ roll. You should definitely try this place if in Glenelg, South Australia.

Nice spot in Moseley Square at the end of Jetty road. A good number of outdoor seats to eat and enjoy the sunset over the Jetty. Try one of the reasonable collection of ABs. Cooked well but this shop does compete against some real competition in the area.
