A real discovery! Friendly and courteous staff. We had a romantic dinner overlooking the sea at sunset and the staff chose us a table with a great view. We ate very well; both the King Whiting and the Scottish fillet were excellent. We spent around €60 each with two entrées, two main plates and two glasses of local wine. Highly recommended!

Having read the reviews we approached our evening meal at The Wharf with low expectations. However, both the arrive and food was outstanding. The calamari entree was soft and delicious served with a spicy salad as was the scallop entree. For mains we both had the lobster and prawn linguini - excellent if a little too much. With a decent bottle of fizz dinner was around 300$, not the cheapest on The Marina but you would have to go a long way to match the quality.

Visited with friends. Found the meals underwhelming - ordered a caeser salad with chicken ($12 extra for chicken was a bit rich!). Others in our party said mains were ok - the bruschetta was good but overpriced
Wait staff were good
We found this an expensive restaurant for a casual lunch and will look at other options next time

Haloumi entree and tomato bruschetta were ok, no complaints. I really wanted to enjoy the night as it was my birthday but the mains were VERY poor. Grilled whiting was so over done and dry; pretty much inedible. Chicken schnitzel was also dry, and an additional $14 for 3 prawns in a thin, watery sauce was over -priced and lacking in any flavour whatsoever. We reported our dissatisfaction to the wait staff when she enquired, but nothing other than ‘I’m sorry to hear that’ was the response. A dinner for two, with 4 glasses of wine to be fair, but = $181 AUD. Definitely NOT WORTH IT. I cook fish better at home. 🫤🥹

Last night is Aus for a group of Kiwis and after what had been a magical week we decided to have a dinner here, unfortunately big mistake, chowder was overpriced and overrated, had no fish and the shellfish had not opened, sent back 4 plates, steak arrived cold on the plate and tough. Although entree’s were ok they were also overpriced for what arrived on the plate, ended up leaving and ordering pizza back at the hotel. Would not recommend until some major changes are made.

I’ve eaten here many times and it is one of my favourite restaurants. The food is excellent, particular the seafood platter.
However, my husband booked a table for 6 on 14 January for dinner inside. He made the booking on 6th January and on 10 January changed the booking to 21 January for five people again inside for dinner. He also dined there on 14 January with a work colleague and confirmed the booking for the following week then.
When we got to the restaurant on 21 January, we were seated outside. It was a cold evening with a strong wind and we were at the most exposed table. The waitress even commented on how horrible the weather was. When we asked if we could be moved, we were told all inside tables had been booked the day before. We pointed out our booking had in fact been changed/made on 10 January however, we were told nothing could be done. We were told the person who took the booking didn’t ask where we wanted to be seated - despite us confirming twice we wanted to be inside.
Eventually, after 30 minutes, my daughter found a spare table for two inside, which we all crammed around. The service was average - we had to ask for a water bowl or wet wipe to clean our hands after shelling the prawns as none was provided. It all seems too hard for the staff.
This was supposed to be a celebration for a birthday dinner at one of my favourite restaurants. It was very disappointing. Although the food is still good, I won’t be returning.

Beautiful location, setting and staff but unfortunately very disappointed with the food given the price. We only stopped in for a drink and nibbles so ordered 2 entrees. Scallops st $5 ea with min of 3, was fine but arancini balls ..bit pricey for an entree at $33 but figured several or large given almost price of a main meal… Not the case at all! Ridiculous pricing (and overcooked at that) . Plenty of options around so I’d give this one a miss unless you’re on a diet!

We walked past and were accomodated and we have no regrets. From attentive staff to delicious food - all our steaks and lambs were favourful, seasoned and cooked exactly right, with good sauce pairing. Even the kids fish and chips was crumbed and beautifully made. A great dining experience in a lovely location.

The service was not good and the food was even worse. Four people had four different dishes and no one thought the dish they ordered was good. It was very disappointing. The food had no taste. The dishes from the previous course were not cleared away automatically. Etc 200 Australia. Dollars no alcohol no dessert 4 people

The seafood in the seafood restaurant is very fresh, delicious, and rich in variety. There are also many choices of red wine, which can be matched according to different tastes. The waiters are friendly and the service is thoughtful. The environment is elegant, suitable for casual gatherings and for taking photos. Overall, the seafood and red wine in this restaurant are highly recommended.

Attended with a friend for lunch... My friend ordered a steak in which she couldn't eat. However prior to ordering the steak she was recommended a particular steak that would have no fat. However this was not the case. We had to ask for a reduce price as it was untouched and not offered a new one. The staff just passed the blame to each other. The girl then brought us down more water for out table and I noted when I got home she charged us $4.99 . We did not ask for a second bottle let alone know we had to pay for it. We had had some in the first bottle. Absolutely appalling. Would never eat here again or would not recommend it to anyone . Sort out your chef and staff with customer service. Remember the customer is always right . We only got $10 off the bill which was $190

Old Dry Fish and dry tough Schnitzel was the worst meals we have eaten in Australia for the last twelve months. We had spoken to the staff about our meals and nothing was acknowledged or altered. We would never again dine at this restaurant.

Came here on New Year's Day and it was absolutely appalling. Service already had an awful first impression as when we booked but had to change the time to an hour later, they were very obviously annoyed. Customer service at the restaurant was also really horrible considering we were served by the head waiter in charge of food? He never once smiled or explained any specials. He looked like serving us was a waste of time. Every time we tried to decide what to order he would just stare off into the distance or look around him. I had my purse on the empty chair next to me as no one around me needed an extra chair, but when a family of 3 sat next to us in a table for 2, the same head waiter pointed at my purse on the chair and stared at me sternly. He did not ask politely or much less at all if the other family could take the empty chair, which I most happily obliged to anyway. Second, he asked my mother in law if she wanted bottled or post-mix coke, but didn't bother to ask me nor my partner, so we were served post-mix, which was mostly water, because we didn't know we had to ask for bottled coke. When the food came, everyone else's food looked great. On the other hand, I ordered the stuffed portobello mushrooms and salt and pepper squid which was a generous portion and looked great too. But there was way too much going on in the dish. It's like they chucked every leftover ingredient they could find in the kitchen onto a plate and drizzled a few drops of balsamic, dotted a few pieces of squid and called it a meal, while charging $40. I couldn't taste much as all the flavours in the dish just mashed together into one tasteless flavour, albeit the squid was well seasoned. When dessert came the waitress did not give us any cutlery so we waited for a while as we thought she was coming back for some. When she finally came back after we had to wave her down and ask her for some, she gave us a huge spoon and fork each, not a dessert spoon or even a knife to cut the tart/cake. Overall appalling service for what should have been a great restaurant in a lovely location, though I was a bit unlucky with my choice of dish. Would consider coming back to try other dishes.

What an amazing location. We sat outside with a view of the ocean. Food was amazing. Entree of Turkish bread. We had the herb encrusted lamb blackstrap and fresh whiting then mocha crème brûlée for dessert. Delicious!!!
Service was exceptional and will definitely dine here again next time I’m in Adelaide. Do yourselves a favour and check this place out. For two people 3 courses was under $140. So a great day overall

Food was fine, as it should be for the price.
However whilst we were scrutinised to make sure we Covid safe checked in, that is where the interest seemed to wane.
Waitress made our ordering of 2 lobsters and wine harder than it needed to be. Then needed to be reminded that she forgot the order of garlic bread, which then came after our meals were served.
2nd order of a Heineken was totally forgotten and when my brother approached the bar, both staff who saw him coming turned away and acted busy.
Not impressed at all. Comments were taken on board and both items therefore not charged but with only a few busy tables in the restaurant, I can't see why it was all so hard. This was a family 60th and 86th combined birthday celebration. Not as special as I would have liked it to be.
