Hotel is lovely and the food at the restaurant was amazing and cheap BUT we went there for the two days to the restaurant and just didn’t go back because the staff there where absolutely rude in many ways not only towards me but to...my friends and family NOT HAPPY so if the staff or bosses read this we visited on the 26th and 27thMay For tea Young blonde girl and young man with a cap behind the bar very disappointed 👎🏻More
Wish I had read the reviews before we came. Not the cheapest menu and for a rare steak to come out medium at best was very disappointing. Probably won’t return as it was a very blasé approach from staff.

Jimmy thanks for your feed back. I would love to understand a little more about your experience, please feel free to contact us to discuss.
As locals, you want to support local business, and we do. We are regulars here coming primarily for outdoor dining with an ocean view, a rarity in Mackay unfortunately.
The food is normally, ok, service same and I am fine with that.
Today, I had...a very overcooked steak, caesar salad that was basically just a pile of undressed lettuce on the plate and pepper sauce that was the consistency of water, but with less flavour.
The managers attitude was complete disinterest with a touch of passive aggressive " so you want your money back?"
I watched another patron do the same with her meal with the same result. Lazy cooking, disinterested staff equals no patrons. You've lost us and all the friends I've recently recommended.More

Thanks for comments and review. Yes it is disappointing when we don't get it right, but hey we are human.
All the best Suzi
Back in my happy place again but only for the weekend, the lovely Linda pops up with my sweeteners after seeing my name. The same room so feels like home.
Bed far too comfortable so sleep in a tad, later check out no drama.
Didn't...expect my bed to be made and a tidy up as only staying 2 nights but the lovely ladies did that and removed my broken wine glass. - THANKYOU
Brekky on Sunday a first and have to say the eggs were best I have had in a long time, perfectly cooked.
Missed the Sunday sesh as had to drive home, next visit I am going to leave on a Monday.
Hoping to be back for another week soonMore

Haven't been for a while been hearing lots of good reviews so wanted to check it out. The ocean front dining is a top notch spot looking out over Lamberts beach it has a relaxed and laid back atmosphere. The service was friendly and the...food delicious ( and l am very fussy ) the presentation was good and all our food was bought out together hot, the wine was icy cold and at a great price to boot. My husband went a few days later and said exactly the same 😁 The Seabreeze rocksMore

Thanks for taking the time to review us! We are very glad you enjoyed your time at the Seabreeze Hotel.
Lovely quiet spot. Rooms are dated but were clean & tidy & has everything you require. Our room had a seperate bedroom. Shower was walk in, had washing machine & dryer. The kitchen had a microwave, fridge, cutlery etc.. & a sink, so no need to...fill the jug up from the bathroom. Although you don’t have a Seaview it is just across the road. Easy access to the sea views from the hotel/restaurant when sipping your afternoon wine/cocktail before dinner. No undercover parking but there is plenty of parking. Will be using again.More

Thank you for your great review! We are very glad you had an enjoyable stay and look forward to your next visit!
We stayed at the Seabreeze Hotel, my partner and 2 boys, 2 and 6.
We had booked a family room, which we were given.. on the top floor.
The room was clean and tidy, no issue there.
Our biggest problem was that you cannot lock...the doors from the inside - so our 2 year old son kept running to the front door and letting himself out to run along the balcony (remember, top floor)
We had originally booked for 5 nights but after a night of worry, we cancelled the remaining 4 nights.
When we requested to cancel, the admin staff took no interest in the reason when we're cancelling, didn't ask if there was anything they could do to make our stay more comfortable. Just said ok and charged us an extra night for cancelling.
The room was clean, bed was comfy but this room was definitely more suited to an older family.More
