Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We went for a Easter Easter family gathering for lunch. Seated outside was lovely. The children had fun with the Easter Egg hunts….. The food was great and we all enjoyed the venue. Certainly recommend… Thanks team…

We went for boxing match. The facility really needs to work on what this looks like when advertising main events. The place was packed and beers expensive for small tvs and no seating. One of the workers was very rude, an older lady who works...at the till outside. This was not the first time she has been rude. Will not go to this venue again fir a big sporting event again, unless some changes are made. Sad as the Coomera Lodge is a great place, it’s these events that they let themselves down.More

Be careful what food you order. Some dishes very bland and tasteless. Stick to basics like burgers and chips and you’ll be fine.

The Coomera Lodge Hotel has novelty plastic igloos to dine in, which we thought could be a laugh for my birthday, & also a bit of a novelty…At $60 dollars per person we really weren’t expecting too much, but they delivered even less… I had...to approach staff 3 times over 50minutes, to find out where our drinks were! It didn’t get any better, & it wasn’t a particularly busy evening either.. Our drinks had apparently been taken to another Igloo…😉 Absolutely disgusting food, it would have been better to have ordered off the menu, rather than try to digest the “set Igloo dinner”… Appalling… Best thing about the night was being taken home by Jeff… the Courtesy Bus driver, who was lovely..More

Excellent food with very good size servings, really great personal service. Loved the decorations in each of the igloos. Would highly recommend these Igloos to any group of family.

Went yesterday, Monday, for the lunch time experience. Very impressed with the ambiance of the hotel and particularly the Igloos. Yes, we did wait some time for our drinks but they were delish, we had cocktails. There were 6 of us and we all fitted...very comfortably in the Igloo which was decorated beautifully. Food was a little slow coming but my goodness, extremely generous serves and delicious. We could not eat it all. Even though the service was a little slow the time passed pleasantly and comfortably with good friends, laughter and a fantastic experience. Well done Coomera Lodge.More

We've now visited the Newly Refurbed Coomera Lodge Hotel on a few of occasions over the last couple of months. Thinking that the "Greeter/Host" was having a bad day, we overlooked the tone & manner in which we were spoken to. However, on our last...visit, having made a Sunday Lunch Booking for family & friends, we were barely out of the Courtesy Bus, when we were abruptly told to make our way through & order, as you only have the Table available for 2 Hours. It would seem unless you have a Booking, Tables are always "Reserved". We overstayed our 2 Hour Table Timeframe to Eat our meals & were asked to move on as there were others coming in (this is at 3 pm in the afternoon). We've never visited a Restaurant and felt so bullied & pressured to Eat and move-on... Sorry, we won't be back - too many other really nice places to Eat/Drink & Socialise with Friends...More

We went for lunch at this hotel to try it out for the first time with a group of friends. We booked online for a table in the Bistro but were disappointed when we arrived to find we had been allocated a high table. With...our group in their 70s and 80s this wasn't suitable, however we were given a different table outside in a covered, but very windy area. Other than this, the lunch was excellent. Apart from the steak being a little chewy, the meals were lovely. We had a look around the hotel and were impressed by the old features retained with the original stone walls and wooden ceiling beams not detracting from the modernisation of the hotel. It is worth a visit but be careful when booking if you require regular height tabeinside the Bistro area. The outdoor tables are lovely, but on a cooler, windy day, they can be a bit uncomfortable.More

Our second meal since the reopening of Coomera Lodge. Unfortunately, our meals were really lacking this time around. We've always been a fan of their schnitzels, but someone took a real liking to the mallet and smashed the crap out of them. Thin dry chicken...was the result. Their chef also doesn't realise that bearnaise sauce is NOT the same as hollandaise. Their menu states 'bearnaise' but years gone by and they still serve hollandaise but call it bearnaise. I did mention it once but the waitress wasn't too happy and just said "we don't have bearnaise". But yet, we will continue to dine here every so often as it is still really lovely sitting in the beer garden.More

Could not recommend more! Moving from Sydney 1 thing this area lacks is good Food! We have nearly tried them all! We love eating out and did it a few nights a week in Sydney…after being disappointed with 99% of what we have tried in...the region, We came across this place one night and decided to give it a go for lunch the next day. WOW! Hands down one of our TOP favourite places to eat, food was delicious and generous proportions and freshness. Will be adding this to our regular lists!More
