We went here with some friends during a visit to the Gold Coast. This place is worth driving too and the food was AMAZING! We ordered butter chicken, chicken tikka, beef madras and chicken korma. They were all amazing curries. The butter chicken was incredible...one of the best that I have ever had. We ordered 4 kids butter chickens and they all loved it too. The pappadums were delicious. The naan bread was absolutely incredible, the best we've ever had. We will absolutely be coming back for another visit when next in the Gold Coast! If I lived close to here I think this would be my weekly indulgence! Well done to Chutney Mary's - we LOVED coming to your restaurant!More

Food is excellent. My issue was delivery. Having eaten several times in the restaurant, we decided on a romantic dinner at home. The website says allow for 30-40 minutes for delivery. 80 mins later, I checked to see if they had received my order and...was told the delivery person had left 5-7 mins ago and would be there soon. We live 5mins away. It would take another 25mins to arrive - almost 2hrs after I ordered. They had my phone number. Had they called to tell me they were busy, it would have been fine. Fortunately the food was delicious but I will not be ordering online in future.More

This is now our favorite Indian. I don't want to say much more because I want this to be our little secret so we can always get a table. But let me add that the flavors are authentically Indian, the same as is served in...fine dining restaurants in 5 star hotels in Mumbai. And the staff are super friendly and helpful. Want more heat - no problem! Less heat - of course! Bring your friendly pup if you don't mind sitting outside but, for the best experience, take a table inside (without your dog of course!). Me and my wife dined at Chutney Mary on Friday 31st. The food ordered was fresh and very tasty. The service was attentive and staff very pleasent. We will definately visit again.

WOW just WOW. The food here is fantastic. Butter chicken is really tasty, and the beef Vindaloo was excellent tonight. We have yet to have a bad meal here. If you enjoy indian food then this is the place to go. It is BYO or...licensed, and the meal prices are great. Excellent value for moneyMore

The food at Chutney Marys at Boonooroo Park in Carrara is wonderful. Medium spice level allows you to taste the flavour of the dish with out burning. If you like it hotter just ask. The Vindaloo is as fiery as you can handle. Medium Butter...Chicken and Medium Lamb Rogan Josh was ideal.More

This out of the way Indian restaurant is worth looking for. My wife and I dined here last week and everything about the place was first class. From the friendly service a to the delicious food we were both very satisfied. We had Naan Breads...and two different curries all were good, we asked for them to be hot and they were fairly hot but could have been hotter. Service is very good, we had a nice young lady looking after us. This restaurant offers BYO wine which is always welcome. I would certainly came back here if I was in the area.More

I was holidaying on the Gold Coast and had a yen for some Indian food. This place had five stars on Google so I gave it a go. The first thing you notice is how spotlessly clean this restaurant is. The decor is simple but...modern. The restaurant is a family owned business and has apparently only been open for a year. After I ordered I got chatting with one of the co-owners. She was welcoming and friendly without being over the top. The beef Rojan Josh was fresh, hot and tender and the naan bread flaky and steaming hot. I liked the fact that being in a small strip shop behind a service station it was easy to find and park. Overall very impressed and great food. Highly recommended.More

We bought takeaway butter chicken, cheese naan and saffron rice tonight. The butter chicken was beautiful, the naan was super cheesy and fresh and the rice was devoured. This is one of the best butter chicken dishes I have ever eaten. It was also very...well priced. My Daughter enjoyed the meal, she wanted to drive back to the shop, just to say thank you to the staff and chef. Thank you, will definately be back when we come down to the Coast!More
