This place used to be a favourite but what happened to the flavour? Curry chicken has zero taste. So disappointed. That's the end of that, plenty of other places to choose from we went out of our way to get there.

We do come here each visit, I find that it is not very consistent with the quality of its bakes. Lovely condensed milk tarts, service from the girls is always pleasant however I have had some not so good bakery items from here so I am still a little out on this bakery.

Would have to be one of the best meat pies I have had. Full of meat which is sometimes hard to find these days. Highly recommend their pies on your visit.

After wandering around Coolangatta looking for unpretentious, non-franchise lunch for what seemed forever, we spotted the Pie Shop and fell upon it like avenging Huns! I reckon you can tell an awful lot about a bakery by it's plain pie and these examples of the piemans' art were very, very good! The mince was pretty near perfect and the gravy... More

Do not go there on a Sunday. Bad service. The owners must train their new staff on a Sunday because it took forever to be served. Terrible coffee, or should I say hot (lukewarm) milk. Plenty of excuses though – wrong milk – new staff – etc., etc. Not recommended.

The staff were rude and the pie was very average. A pie and sausage roll $8.80 not really good value for average takeaway food.

Pastry of low quality, not going back here not sure how they survived for this long. Thought filling was a bit dry bottom soggy and 5 dollars too much for what you get.

We dropped in for a quick pie and loved them. My favourite was the curry pie. The wife had a potato and she loved it as well. There is a little seating area outside with tables to eat them as well. The cakes looked yummy but we didn't try. Great pies on the southern coast.

Just popped in for a quick pie and drink. I had the curry beef and mum had cheese and bacon. We both commented that the pastry used to create the base was excellent and the top pastry was very nice flaky puff pastry. The filling was very tasty and over all a great experience.
