AUTHENTIC AND DELICIOUS

An incredible menu, it felt like we couldn’t go wrong. The wait staff made some excellent recommendations and also helped guide the quantity we’d need for our small family of three. The Ka-Na and vegetarian fried rice were delicious! My daughter ate ALL of her vegetables because it all tasted so great. Lovely owner who uses her Mum’s authentic Thai recipes in the restaurant and holds authenticity in the highest regard. Can’t recommend this one enough!

Impromptu chat up with a friend ... best food

I've been staying in Coolangatta for for almost 2 weeks, staying at the North end at Beach Resort, and have pretty much tried every restaurant under the building. Hands down the best restaurant of all the time I've been here. Their customer service was friendly and accommodating, they set up a table as they were fully booked. The service was so attentive. We ordered chicken satay, the garlic pork with a bowl of rice. It was so delicious. Thoughtly recommend

Thailicious!!

A great little Thai restaurant. We walked by one night and it was packed whilst other surrounding restaurants were only partially full. The food is flavoursome, the helpings plentiful and the staff cannot do enough for you. We returned several times trying different meals but each time ordered the Zaap wings -- best fried chicken!!!

Very Disappointing

Service was poor, staff were not friendly, very cold and poor communication skills. Meals were beyond ordinary, starters especially were too small and overall the food was bland and extremely overpriced considering other similar restaurants in the local area. Very disappointed with Lam Lam. We will not be returning.

Twice for dinner take away meals

We went there on a recommendation of friend chef in the business , for our first night the food was great with genuine authentic flavours and spices. On our last night we ordered several dishes the duck curry lots of vegetables but a few ducks pieces, the massaman curry the beef wasn't cooked enough and should fall to pieces to shredded pieces, pork and basil, steamed rice and green chicken curry, also a pad thai.Overall we were disappointed with the consistency of the food delivery, with one night was excellent and the Friday evening mediocre.

Absolutely delicious food!

Absolutely delicious food! Staff are genuinely pleasant and efficient. The owner is delightful and we had a great conversation about the food, in particular, the delicate, blue coconut rice. We will definitely eat here next time we are in Coolangatta.

“Delicate” is a great byline

“Delicate” is a great byline for this restaurant- great food at a good price. The fish dish was like nothing we’ve ever tasted before. Generous serving size and prompt friendly service. Will definitely return. Thank you.

Extensive menu and food was delicious

We are so glad we went to this restaurant which was very close to our accommodation. We have been to many Thai restaurants but this one had a number of menu options we had never seen before. Our party of four had four starters which were all delicious: *spring rolls *curry puffs *prawns wrapped in potato *chicken satay The appetisers were so generous we only ordered a Pad Thai with Crispy Pork Belly to share. We were agreed the meal was one of the best Thai meals we have ever eaten. We will definitely return when next in the area.

The best Thai food outside of Thailand

We loved the food at this little Thai restaurant in Coolangatta. We had fried chicken wings with spicy herbs, crispy pork in chilli jam sauce, cashews nut and crispy chicken & coconut rice. We enjoyed every mouthful and our tastebuds were delighted. To top it off it this restaurant is BYO. Just remember to book because it was very busy. Great food & we will be back!

Exceedingly Good

How this place can produce such excellent dishes from such a small kitchen speaks wonders for the chef. Their vegetables are just the right crispness and flavour. Then they have to demolish the seating area until the next opening. Amazing! They are BYO, which is not a problem as there is a bottle shop through the tunnel near Beach House. This restaurant is a gem so do book.

Tasty Thai in Coolie

Lam Lam Delicate Thai in opposite the beach in Coolangatta. All dining is al fresco, (but well under cover) as the restaurant itself is tiny. It can get a bit windy depending on your table location. We ordered the Moo Ping ( marinated pork skewers), Zaap chicken wings and Som Tam salad. All were very good. The chicken wings in particular were delicious. Nice to see some northern style and Isaan food on a Thai menu rather than just usually run of the mill curries and standard noodles dishes. My only minor criticism would be that the som tam and zaap wings were not particularly spicy, even though we asked for Thai taste. No doubt the food is tailored to more sensitive western palates. The table service was friendly and helpful.

This is authentic Asia - Thai at its humble best!!... I could go on about balance and layers and mouth feel and bold and delicate ... but simply said ... if you like Thai food and beautiful hosts - don’t go past this little gem !!

Delicious Thai food

We visited for dinner as a group. The food was very good, especially the red chicken curry and Thai fish cakes. I would definitely recommend the food. The only issue was that we were squashed into the corner, as there wasn't enough room, but the food made up for it. The prices are very reasonable too.

Great value - small menu - one stand-out

Reviews call this the best Thai on the Gold Coast so we got take away for dinner. The chicken wings were sensational - delicious, juicy, and no sign of oil! Culinary magic you should enjoy. The other dishes were good too. Not a huge range, but variety is available. Great value for money.

Delicious, amazing and great friendly service❤️

This Thai Restaurant in Coolangatta is the BEST Thai I and my family have ever had. The chicken skewers with peanut sauce melted in our mouths, spring rolls delicious. Beef Massaman was flavoursome with tender delicious flavours. Our family could not fault this restaurant. My brother from Canada joined us and agreed it was a great evening and faultless. You must try if you love authentic Thai with friendly service.
