Family friendly with fine dining quality!

If you love fine dining but couldn’t leave the kids at home during your visit to the Hunter Valley, don’t stress as this amazing restaurant has you covered! We had our 18 month old with us on this visit to the Hunter and we wanted...to celebrate some good news we had recently received so we were excited when we found out the Hunters Quarter caters for families. They were extremely friendly and accommodating while still offering fine dining options. The service was flawless and the food was impeccable. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough and we will definitely return to try their 5 course degustation menu!More

Great meal, great service and amazing value

This is a great restaurant. Excellent menu, great food and incredible value for money. Excellent service and tables well spaced and not over-crowded. 3 courses for $110 and they include great bread, an amuse bouche and a palate cleanser before dessert. I just really enjoyed...the meal and will be going back.More

Excellent spot in the Hunter

We came with a multi-generational family group for a birthday celebration. We had done a lot of research before deciding on Hunter’s Quarter and it paid off. Our $110 a la carte 3-course meal was of excellent quality. Would recommend all menu items, but particularly...the lamb loin from the mains.More

Perfect Melbourne Cup lunch

Amazing food and kid/baby friendly

Amazing fine dining experience that has a great view and is genuinely kid friendly! My husband and I were keen to have a nice lunch in the Hunter Valley but were not sure if that would be possible with our 9 month old. The staff...were wonderful from start to finish and made our little one feel so welcome and part of our table with her own napkin and piece of sourdough from her high chair. The food was outstanding & being able to sit down and enjoy a degustation with our baby was the best!More

Don’t miss eating at Hunters Quarter

Wonderful food, service and ambiance

We had a family lunch here for my husband's 70th birthday. We were all very impressed with the menu, food and service. The setting is perfect and our grandson enjoyed seeing the ducks on the pond. A big thanks to Boris and his team for...their service and attention and to the chefs for preparing such wonderful food. Best view and meal

The view at Hunters Quarter was spectacular. We had a 5 course tasting menu for lunch which was delicious. The tables are nicely spaced out and one can sit on the verandah on a nice day. What I really like was each dish was explained...including some of the wine varietals from the region. Definitely recommend.More

Honest & Unpretentious

It's a rainy Thursday in the Hunter Valley as we arrive at Hunters Quarter. The entrance to the restaurant is easy to find and we are welcomed into the dining room. We booked a table on the deck but are offered a table inside due...to the inclement weather. The setting is impressive with sweeping views across the vineyard. Our server provides a warm greeting and we are offered still or sparkling water. A drinks menu awaits our perusal, wifey flicking quickly to the cocktail page... Our 3 course menu is well presented and the options are nicely varied. We decide on the Kingfish and Kangaroo Tartare for our entrees. Mains will be the Berkshire Pork & Market Fish (Cod). Desert will be Chocolate Moelleux and a cheese platter. We were surprised and delighted with the quality of every dish presented to us. Vibrant, fresh and bursting with flavour, we were very satisfied with the presentation and experience. It's so refreshing to visit a venue that doesn't try to be more than it is. This is a place where you instantly feel welcomed, with no pressure or expectations. You can relax here, enjoy the food, wine, views, tunes... Magical place

The place is very peaceful! Food is top quality and we really enjoyed the whole evening. Boris served us and you can see that he is the first class waiter who knows what he is doing! But the highlight was, not being able to get...taxi back to the place we were staying and the restaurant owner offered to take us home which was so nice and we will never forget that!
