My wife & I were staying at the Mercure Hunter Valley, so we went for convenience and dined here, and since I was an AccorPlus member, we were given 1/2 price so it was excellent value. Instead of $72 for a three course meal, we...More

We stayed at the resort and visited the restaurant on the first night. No complaints. It is a very welcoming business - great facility and service. Introduced us to a new wine that we sought out at the cellar door on the next day. We...More

I and 6 girlfriends had dinner here and the menu was reasonably priced for a French restaurant. We had three courses and all was good except I opted for the crepes which spoilt my overall meal somewhat. The orange sorbet had already melted by the...More

My wife and I spent a couple of days at the Mercure Hunter Valley Gardens. Dined at Elements Restaurant on our first night, and were very impressed with the French inspired cuisine. Not a large menu, but still a great selection, and I'm sure almost...More

only issues were this restaurant only has a 2 or 3 course set menu. A few items to choose from however if looking for a light meal or something else not available

Description
The name éléments is derived from the natural elements of fire, water and soil, components that resonate with the Hunter Valley region and are reflected in the entire restaurant experience. Executive Chef Jean Marc Pollet has created a menu driven by the food philosophy of the fusion of classic French cuisine with Australian produce. The inspired menu features local and seasonal produce executed with a French flair, and has signature dishes such as Duck and Mushroom Pie with Asparagus Spears and éléments Summer Salad. The ingredients used are of best quality and include produce from the Chef’s very own garden on his 5-acres farm and suppliers from around the Hunter Valley.
