Group of four had lovely lunch with inside seating. Mushroom entree just perfect. Salmon special good though kipfler chips were not the star of the meal. Curry special also a hit. Finished with a shared creme brulee for a sweet finish with lovely fresh berries. Worth the visit.

This is the first time I have eaten at Amanda's; we went with friends who are regulars. The service was excellent and the food beautiful. They are open 7 days which is great for locals (like me) who often eat out on Mondays & Tuesday, its also BYO if you wish.

Ordered from the specials menu, very disappointed with the dishes ordered, tasteless and nothing special about them. I was very surprised as this restaurant has a high rating. Wait staff overheard me discussing my disappointment. Dessert menu board was plonked in front of us with no invitation to order or explanation. Suffice to say we didn't order dessert and will... We went here on a Friday night with great anticipation from all the reviews I had read. The restaurant has a couple of rooms and outdoor dining as well. We were inside in a nice cosy room. The restaurant was full and the tables are relatively close together but there is little noise and it still has an intimate feel.... More

We went three times to Amanda's on the edge and the food was great but the menu stayed the same so we stopped going. But the lamb I got was so tasty and everything was lovely so we will be back again but once we've tried a few other places first.

We live in the area and expect really good food when we eat out. A number of our friends had recommended Amanda's on the Edge and we chose it as the venue for my birthday dinner. We all ordered something different, from each of the three courses, so we could get a good overview of the menu. All were really... More

We were visiting from the UK and our trip to the Hunter with a family member and their fiancé was made all the more due to the great meal. The restaurant was pleasant and service was very good and the atmosphere superb Food was hot and well presented and the staff accommodated our needs. Whilst our first time here, hopefully... More

Went for lunch on the weekend and the service was really bad. When the food finally arrived, some of the orders were wrong. Will not be returning.

I could use many complimentary words for this lovely little restaurant but relaxed and homely spring to mind. Visiting from The UK for the first time we loved the Hunter Valley. We chose Amanda's after reviewing the local offerings (there are many). Hunter stands for quality and this didn't disappoint one bit. It was dark when we arrived but had... More

Our little family had lunch here on the weekend. My boys are vegetarian and Amanda kindly changed the beef sauce to a simple tomato sauce in the kids meal. I had a delicious pesto linguine and my wife had a beautiful lamb rack. Finished with a chocolate fondant. Entrées took about 30 minutes as did the kids meals. Mains took... More
