Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

The location was beautiful. Staff were attentive but not intrusive. The food was amazing and I am looking forward to my next visit

Very dissapointed, my husband and I ordered Tenderloin Steak and Eggs, we both received two very small thin (one was the size of a 50c coin) pieces of dry overcooked steak which was difficult to cut and worse to chew, the two eggs were brown...and crispy on the bottom but totally raw on top. Over rated and Over priced at $38 a meal! There were 4 children in our party aged between 2 and 7 years, milk shakes were served in a Glass, the childrens meal portions were far too large (my daughter ordered a half portion of the french toast for herself which was smaller than the 2 year olds french toast kids meal and the 1/2 portion was more expensive). The menu seemed to be missing the basic eggs on toast option too... seemed to be more about how much you could charge for each seat so no basic options provided. Overall, while the staff were attentive the food was not up to par in relation to price or quality.More

Fantastic breakfast had by ourselves whilst enjoying the beauty of outdoor seating in a beautiful, relaxed setting. My wife is still raving about how good her banana bread with baileys mascarpone was. Followed this up by going to the chocolate store on site and leaving...with a bag full of delightsMore

I have no idea how this place receives so many awards. The menu was limited, but thought it was ok. Until the food came. One dish, the smoked salmon pasta, was just slop out of a bucket. It clearly was not cooked to order and...had obviously been sitting stewing with everything thrown into one pot. It was supposed to be a bisque but more like a stinky pool of fish gut water from the bottom of a fishing bucket. Do these people know what a bisque is ? The stench of this dish made everyone at the table recoil in disgust, it really did smell off ! Who in their right mind cooks smoked salmon and then leaves it stewing in its own juices for who knows how long. Putrid inedible garbage. The risotto was a joke, arborio yes, but with tinned tomato thrown in at the end....tasted like campbells tinned tomato soup and rice. The massaman beef was ordinary, beef cooked nicely, but the massaman was notmade from scratch. Again, out of a jar Im sure. The baked camembertwas not cooked long enough and still very firm. The trio of dips......pureed tinned corn, olive dip off the supermarket shelf, and same with the beetroot whatever it was. No beetroot, pink food colouring I would say. And a small stale breadroll to accompany. Others also complained that their crackers with he camembert were stale. The ceviche was a joke and duck overcooked. $40 for a main, that was either inedible or just barely. Never again. Shameful.More

Had been planning to go here for some time after hearing good reviews. Our family went for lunch. Oysters were small and didn’t have a fresh taste, kilpatrick ones were dry. Mains were small and underwhelming, the duck had that much sauce on it I...couldn’t even taste the duck. Deserts weren’t anything memorable either. Overall a disappointing meal and we won’t be making any plans to go back.More

Great vineyard restaurant. Lovely food. Great vibe. And those little fairy wrens that fly in and out. A delight to watch. Lunch and a show :)

This used to be the go to for breakfast in Hunter Valley. We turned up today and ordered two coffees, the breakfast special which stated " home style lamb hotpot, home baked beans, goats cheese and baked eggs with sour dough". To start, the coffees...were bitter and terrible taste, not sure what was wrong with them. Yes we drank them because we needed something wash breakfast down with, but did not enjoy them. The home style lamb hot pot was definitely mince in chili con carne style, no homestyle lamb hot pot to be seen. The eggs were baked hard and were like rubber. The toast was like a rock and inedible. The beans were ok. For $27 this meal was terrible. The other party had bagel with scrambled egg which they said was ok. Definitely lost its vote for me. I have baked eggs a lot and these were dry and hard, so bad for this restaurant to even serve something like that. If it was chili con carbe why not just say it. This was no homestyle lamb hot pot. Wont rush back. Plenty of better options in hunter valley for breakfast.More

Two mornings for breakfast. A delightful scenery with a pleasant atmosphere. Eggs your way - poached eggs on sourdough bread with avocado on side was delicious. The coffee is great. The overall staff are very attentive and friendly. A great experience and I will return.

My husband and I had lunch at Restaurant Cuvee. The service was prompt , almost rushing us. We arrived at 1pm and had a main meal one drink and dessert and left at 2.05pm. I really wanted a leisurely lunch as the location is lovely....I did really enjoy the food and cocktail. The flavours were beautiful with generous servings and the dessert was to die for. The only complaint I have is that service was very fast almost to the point we felt we were an imposition being there but having said that the staff were lovely. They were setting up a function on the lawn that day so perhaps the kitchen needed us out. The rushed lunch did not affect the food quality but the ambience was gone for us.More

The wine tasting was fabulous, lovely guy did it. We had not complaints about that. We stayed for lunch but it is not the place for food. We had a later lunch so it was obvious the kitchen was closing and we got the left...overs of the food as most of it was cold. Which is a solid effort when you have three bowls of chips and the majority of it cold. It was disappointing as it’s such a beautiful location.More
