Delightful lunch, grazing on several share plates. This restaurant definitely exceeded our expectations. Every dish was extraordinary, from the beautifully tender calamari, the delicious spring rolls and the succulent chicken wings, to the amazing chocolate fondant dessert. As well as the share plates, the menu...offered some mains that sounded very tempting. The service was friendly and efficient. Ridge View is out of the way and hard to find, but absolutely worth the drive. We’ll certainly be back!More

My husband and i visited the restaurant on the 24 April doe lunch and the food and service exceeded our expectations . The food was fresh and full of flavour . We had some entrees that def didnt disappoint but the main meal rolled and...stuffed pork belly was so delicious. It melted in our mouth. Its a must try if you go there. Cocktails are good as well. I had the French martini . Nice view from the restaurant and the staff was very friendly . Overall a great experienceMore

We went here for breakfast for our sons birthday. The options were plenty and the food was fantastic. Lovely large restaurant with a great view overlooking the vineyards. It was so good we stayed and did a wine tasting experience. Certainly would recommend a visit.

Stopped for an amazing lunch. Lamb Shank Ragout and the Pork Belly. Paired with Chambourcin and a Pinot Gris, was lovely.

We have previously dined at Ridgeview and have always loved it but today was a disappointment. Three out of four entrees were served at the same time, the fourth entree didn’t come out until at least 10 minutes after the other entrees. For the limited...choice of mains, (lunch menu) two of our party had the duck and it was very dry and tough, almost unpalatable. The Mushroom Risotto was lacking in flavour, the Prawn Linguine I wouldn’t rate either. Sadly disappointed.More

We ate as a group of 4. We looked at the small lunch menu & was disappointed with the limited 4 main meal choice that we did not like except the duck breast $39. Instead we chose several items from the entrees, 3 servings of...oysters with a chardonnay sauce very nice $21 for 6. Two servings of Duck spring rolls , 3 per serving , about $16 1 Garlic prawn pizza, very nice but a little short on prawns. The wine list was well priced selling they wines at cellar door prices, round $25. Good service, friendly staff.More

We had breakfast here on our last day in the area. Lovely drive there, quite scenic. But of dirt road but maintained well. We started in the restaurant sitting on the deck overlooking the vines, in particular the Pinot Gris grapes. Our food was yummy,...coffee good. Staff friendly and efficient. We then moved into the cellar door to try some wines, the lady was very friendly, knowledgeable and not pushy at all. Let us enjoy our tasting and talk amongst ourselves but also willing to answer the million questions my hubby asked. They also had a bargain barrel where he got some good deals. ThanksMore

We had a group of 12, so we ordered the 4-course with wine pairing. We had asked if a 1.5-hour service was possible as we had to leave by 2pm for a tasting, but we were 15 minutes late which was out of our hands...& probably should've notified them beforehand. That may have been the reason why the food coming out of kitchen was slow, 4 courses over 2 hours was a bit much. We mentioned we needed to leave before the dessert came out. I don't know if either of us were to blame there, I think staff did well under the circumstances. Onion soup which doesn't sound too appetising, but it was quite sweet and surprisingly tasty, and went well with a glass of verdelho. Next was an entree sized trio of scallops, they were so delicious I could've eaten a plate full, the semillon paired with it was reasonable. The scotch fillet was just okay, the shiraz was quite soft and mild. My steak was tender in places and chewy in others, some said theirs was quite fatty. The dessert was an apple pie with raspberry sorbet, it was soft and sweet and a nice finish, many said it was their favourite of the courses. The sweet viognier was pretty good too. It's a fun experience with all those courses and wines, but we felt at times like we were forgotten by the kitchen. I realise we were a large group, but I would've thought they would be more prepared to send out the meals faster than a 2 hour period. Maybe give yourself a bit of time for the whole deal, especially when it's so far away from the wineries in Pokolbin.More

We made a booking on Friday night for 6:00pm. When we arrived we were the only two in the restaurant for about 45mins, felt like a ghost down. The food was great and we were able to sit on a table closes to the outside...area. Staff were attentiveMore
