The best bit is the tender steaks cooked to perfection by the experienced staff. The service and patience of the staff was good. This is one of the few places open in the Hunter Valley on a Tuesday night.

Beautifully prepared food and spacious dining area with breezy flow particularly on hot days. Flatbread entree was scrumptious served by extremely warm, friendly and professional staff. Will definitely visit again on our next trip up to the Hunter.

Delicious food, friendly staff and a nice atmosphere. I had my very first oysters and they were really nice, Kilpatrick all the way! My boyfriend and I tried some new local cider and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Definitely worth a visit!

We came across this restaurant and decided to book in for dinner. The reason we booked this restaurant is because it had a courtesy shuttle. We loved this idea so my partner and I could have a few drinks and not worry about driving back...More

I’ve been to Blaxlands on numerous occasions, and each time, it’s always wonderful. My husband and I shared the flat bread, olives and Labna, as well as Kirkpatrick oysters. Both were delicious. For mains, I had the mushroom pasta with prawns, and my husband had...More

I travel from Sydney to visit the Hunter and my favourite spot is Blaxland In. Best steaks I’ve ever had and the oysters are as fresh as they come. Beautiful service and atmosphere. 5 stars
