Great Food! On a recent weekend in the Hunter we dined at this restaurant, if you enjoy a good sized meal then this is the place for you. We really enjoyed the slow cooked lamb shoulder! Atmosphere good and staff friendly and helpful.

What a delightful meal. We were looking for a reasonable place for lunch and were recommended Baume whilst tasting wine at Petersons. We had the calamari, the lamb shoulder and a side of roast pumpkin and beans. The stand out was the the melt in...the mouth lamb and gorgeous jus. The service was friendly and prompt all this combined in a lovel setting made for an excellent lunch.More

Took some friends for lunch to celebrate a birthday. Those that haven’t been there before are now devotees. The food is constantly good and I think reasonably priced especially for the quality. All the staff we encountered were very helpful and friendly. We ate in...the main restaurant then had coffee outside near the pizza oven. No one tried to hurry us up. Couldn’t wish for better.More

This is a pleasant place to eat. The menu offers a number of share plates. We had the chicken and a couple of sides. The meal took a while to come and when it did, it looked fantastic. Unfortunately, the chicken was slightly over cooked....But, the sides were fabulous. We had the cauliflower and pumpkin. They were better than the main. The staff were friendly and very good at their jobs, the only negative was the chicken. They were extremely busy, but, still more than happy to recommend.More

food was beautiful!!!!! but unfortunately that's where the compliments end. service was not up to scratch and did not much the standard of the food.... our table was ignored and we got asked if we wanted dessert on 3 seperate occasions although we had ordered...the first time we were asked. coffees were ordered with desserts buy did not arrive. I brought this to the attention of the waitress as we were paying our bill but no apology. I understand there may have been new staff but more training is required. our experience did not meet Hunter Valley standards or the cost of our lunch.More

We dined at Baume for the second time last weekend and the food and service were perfect. We had the Garlic prawns and Arancini for Entrée, both were generous servings enough to be a main. For mains we had the Lamb Shoulder with a side...dish of roasted pumpkin. The Lamb Shoulder was tender and cooked to perfection. Will be coming back with friends in the future,More

Yes this restaurant has plenty of room for a pram and has high chairs too. It is actually quite a spacious restaurant. there are a few steps at front entry but there may be a flatter entry at the end of the veranda. It may... More
