Sabor dessert bar is the best place in the Hunter Valley. The hardest decision you have is to actually decide what you want to eat and drink. There are so many different options available for dietary needs. You can also takeaway extra and they also have...a shop. The restaurant is suited for all ages and easy access for wheelchairs and prams. It has a beautiful view from the cafe.Make sure you book in and you will miss out.More
My partner and I called in for a late morning tea, which filled us until dinner time. The staff member was a bit annoyed we hadn't booked but seated us by a window with a beautiful view and gave us a strict time limit. When...it expired we noticed there were plenty of empty tables.
I guess our eyes were bigger than our stomachs because we ordered the Chocolate and Nutella dipping plate piled high with caramel popcorn, strawberries, banana slices, marshmallow, honeycomb, waffles, ice cream and more, accompanied by Peterson's Botrytis Semillon dessert wine. I realised afterwards a coffee would have been better. It was sugar overload, we couldn't finish but took some home in a cute little boxMore
Amazing desserts, fabulous views and delightful staff! A great place to visit for an out of this world dessert experience. Be prepared for lots of sugar, a fantastic one off experience if you want to be slim and beautiful 😁
A lovely dessert place and experience. So many delicious items to choose from I'm sure we will be back to visit many times. I tried the raspberry and lychee creation. Absolutely delicious and freshly made. My friend ordered the chocolate souffle which takes half an...hour to make ( which is noted on the menu). YUMMYMore
A nice change of pace from wine tasting- getting a sugar buzz on with a large array of desert treats. The tasting platter gave us a good selection of flavors, and the trio of gelato was massive. Good coffee too.
Our third visit and each time Sabor never disappoints..
Exquisite desserts, impeccable service and spotlessly clean.
You can see some of the magnificent views no matter where you are seated.
A wonderful experience each time
The desserts are original, very detailed and generous, no way are...they overpriced.
Also love the children’s options.
We will be back again & again!More
I love desserts, and on our cheese and wine tour, we asked two people and they both recommended this place. It did not disappoint.
We had an ice cream sundae to share which was bigger than my head.
Then a mocha with an entire cup...of liquid chocolate to pour in myself, which made me suddenly very aware of how much chocolate probably goes in normally, but I enjoyed every second! We sat outside in the sun and it was lovely.More
Not coming back. Average desserts can get at any cafe...and extremely pricey,
Not at all worth it especially after
booking a table ages ago got seated in the back room facing kitchen door with no views when they were 3 empty tables in the front...room for 45 minutes.
The guy at the front door had a very bad attitude, he couldn't care less.More

Thank you for your review. Unfortunately there are a few statements in your review that just aren't true. I was "the guy at the front door", the owner. Firstly you didn't book "ages ago" you booked online 2 days earlier on 3rd April...More

Hi everyone - thank you for your replies. I ahve been to Sabor and I too thought it was just single cakes but as I haven't been for 12 months things could have changed. I posted hoping someone from Sabor might answer as they were closed for a week so therefore I couldn't ring and also The Rustic Tuckshop has done cakes for me previously but couldn't for the date I wanted. I did finally after trying 2 others got someone from Warners Bay and my daughter is picking it up and bringing. along
