Dinner out! Well I called for a reservation at 3pm and they had a table for 6pm. Sat in the courtyard as it was a warm evening and started with garlic bread and bottle of wine. Then mains.....well the pork cutlet was fantastic! Moist and...tasty and the vegetables were lightly steamed , just perfect. My wife had barramundi and it was crispy skinned and moist and really tasty too. For dessert we shared a baked cheesecake as I was too full. Again really delicious. You need to book or you’ll be disappointed.More

I was looking for a nice place for dinner in Parkes on a road trip and was very happy I came to Bent both nights if my stay in Parkes. As a solo diner it's not always the warmest welcome but friendly staff made it...a pleasure. You do need to book as popular but no problem with same day booking. Enjoyed 2 courses and glass of wine about $55. Had the barramundi with prawns and beef cheeks in shiraz plus the 2 desserts over both nights. Delicious. The Pinot Grigio from Orange by the glass is delicious. Highly recommended.More

There are not a lot of upmarket restaurants in Parkes. Majority are the usual pubs and hotels, with quite a few Asian cuisine restaurants. After eating at the Railway hotel the previous night, we wanted to try a restaurant and were very happy with Bent....Service was excellent, covid protocol in place, and the food so good we're going back again tomorrow. Menu is small, around 5 entrees, with 4 mains and 2 desserts but we found it adequate. We each had 3 courses and one of us had a drink and the bill came to $120. We both had the scallop and prawns entree which was delicious. I had the barramundi and requested the sauce on the side. Glad I did as it would have been too spicy for me and the fish didn't need a sauce. Husband had the spicy seafood penne pasta which he enjoyed. May choose 3 entrees tomorrow instead of a main.More

My husband an I recently found this gem of a restaurant and bar in the back streets of Parkes after having a terrible experience at a pub that did not honour our booking. We went walking to find something reasonable open for dinner on a...Friday night (no small feat!!) We googled restaurants and saw the Bent Food and Wine had good reviews. We were fortunate to get a table due to no booking as the restaurant was very popular. The staff were friendly and professional (unlike the pub we had to leave) the food was delicious and fresh. Substantial sizes and tasty. Wine list was adequate, would like to have had more local options from regional NSW available. All up, lovely evening which changed our opinion of Parkes dining. Highly recommended.More

In spite of a small hitch with our booking (which was sorted out immediately!) the evening was most enjoyable. The menu was limited in numbers, but covered a wide range of dishes, and the wine list was good for a small restaurant. We started with...a shared entre of prawns and scallops, very tasty, and followed with pork cutlet with a range of vegetables and a seafood pasta. Both were beautifully cooked and very enjoyable. The staff were warm and helpful without being over-powering.More

Meals and service were fine. Not the best, not the worst. Not cheap either. COVID19 precauions are in place.

Early June/ July had a takeaway with mates Beautiful tacos , Barramundi with the risotto was heaven and the cocktails just hit the spot
