IKON, Parkes

We were in Parkes for my mum's birthday and rang to make a booking for dinner.... we were told that the restaurant hasn't been open for a while. This information however was delivered over the phone like we should know that It wasn't open for...business...!! I'm sorry I don't live in parkes and I didn't know you haven't had the restaurant running for some time, how were we to know that? I think that if your going to advertise that your a restaurant in Parkes and if your business isn't operating at the moment then tell people on your websites It's not that hard. I didn't like the way I was spocken to on the phone and will not be calling again to make a reservation in the future when and if you decide to reopen.More

Well worth a visit

My wife an me recently dined here we have been here several times before and have always enjoyed good food and great service . You have the choice of dinning inside or outside. My wife had the ribs and I had the Barramundi both meals...were great with 2 desserts and a few drinks about $110.00 all up. We Will definitely be back. MyMore

A night during the Elvis Festival

We considered ourselves lucky to be able to book a room during the Elvis festival in October! Everything is booked out months ahead... The motel doesn't exactly reflect the pictures on the website in arrival. I was expecting more memorabilia than a couple of prints...and a small mosaic in the floor! The rooms are tidy but very small. The bathroom was smaller than one on a cruise ship. Noisy outside due to activity but the motel is located on top of a hill and it's too far to walk in costume in the heat!More

Delicious

Really lovely warm vibe. Staff were so friendly and accommodating. Food was amazing. Had the share platter and that was enough to fill up 2 people.

Most Magnificent Food

The food at Ikon at Hotel Gracelands is to die for. The chef is to be congratulated for the food he serves up and the staff are very friendly and very helpful. My husband and I both enjoyed our meals both nights we were there...and could not fault them. The food is 4 star and delicious. As we were staying at the hotel we were provided with a continental breakfast delivered to our room which we paid extra for but the variety of the food was wonderful and so fresh and tasty. If you are staying in Parkes go to Ikon at Hotel Gracelands for your food you won't be disappointed.More

Never disappoints

I come here for work and this place never disappoints. Both stays have been great. Comfy beds, clean throughout, fresh towels, welcoming feel to the place, Awesome service, Ikon is on point, restaurant settings with open fire is comforting, nice quiet little spot. I have...no bad things to say. Havent had a chance to have brekky because of early starts but I would definitely come back to this place time and time again.More

Worth a visit

Surprisingly cosy restaurant in this hotel. Roaring fire adds to the ambience. Food good but not cheap. We were there in NAIDOC week and the chef included some interesting dishes. My emu was delicious.

Dinig well

Lovely evening

We were in Parkes for the ABBA Festival. The Ikon was recommended and did not disappoint. Alison looked after us so well from the minute we arrived (without a reservation) and the food was delish. Alison even spent some time with us telling us about...the history of the restaurant. This restaurant is well worth a visit and although not cheap is good value.More
