Not a large breakfast menu but the food was amazing. Rodney is back so I'm looking forward to the new menu

Food is wonderful, atmosphere is great. If you have a large group booking the top floor is a Greta way to enjoy a more relaxing dining experience with friends. I have been for a number of work and social functions and never left un happy

Paymasters has been around forever which is a good advertisement for any restaurant but this place is a cut above and is an excellent venue for an intimate hat standard meal anytime of the day. Don't miss the weekend breakfast pancakes they are legendary.

Next door to Customs House, the heritage-listed building is on the site of the historic old Convict Lumber Yard. Paymasters Restaurant is one of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley's most delightful dining experiences. Paymasters is atmospheric, romantic and yet casual. Superb staff ensure a conscientious, personable and delightful dining experience. An essential first date restaurant, our pancakes are wonderful on a weekend morning. Come to Paymasters and experience Garlic Prawns like you will never taste again. For the visitor to Newcastle, Paymasters is a must experience, for the Hunter local - a weekly haunt. Paymasters can accommodate all manner of circumstances, so bring the kids or a large group. Bookings recommended. Paymasters is fully licenced, one of life's little pleasures. Worried about splitting the bill? We can run separate accounts so you don't need to make calculations later. For large parties, we ask for account names when you confirm your final numbers for your booking, smaller parties can arrange accounts when ordering. We are able to do individual food and beverage accounts for parties of any size.
