Walk in, and the place is filthy. A dead cockroach of the floor, millions of flies everywhere annoying us, and dirty floors. We just ordered two small drinks, shouldn't have been too much to ask, but the staff all stood around laughing and talking and on their phones for ages wasting their time. Finally, after two workers just randomly left,... More

After coming to Good Brother many times before and being delighted with their great coffee and food, my experience yesterday was the complete opposite! The staff were friendly and accommodating, however the coffee was served luke warm and the breakfasts were really disappointing. The menu seems to have changed, with old favourites like the Egyptian breakfast no longer on the... More

I've wanted to see what this Good Brother is all about for quite a few years now. Low and behold we found ourselves in there for coffee on our King Street Tour. I have to question what's going on here, the place was full of flies, grubby tables and staff that were way more interested in well....anything else. The coffee... More

One of the best lattes to be found. I had coffee here many times, and cake once. Cake was lovely. Would be great if there was more outdoor seating, as I usually have my dog with me.

If you are looking for carrot cake drowning in cream cheese frosting this is not the place for you. They have some delicious cakes and slices, healthier alternatives and their coffee is great. Its a funky little place, within walking distance of where we were staying so never had to worry about parking. Might be an issue if you are... More

Never fails to disappoint. Great coffee and tasty breakfasts. This is a lovely place at the end of King Street. The staff are great - speedy and professional. The menu changes regularly and I really like how you can pay forward food and coffee. Keep up the great work! Look forward to my next visit.

Working in Newcastle, breakfast at Good Brother ( close to the Novotel). Always good coffee, went for the granola rather than my traditional avocado toast. Delicious with fresh fruit. Good and friendly service too.

Intriguing little place. Nice to enter & with a trendy decor & vibe. Staff cool and friendly. Coffee is excellent, and food pretty good too. My vegetarian bruschetta was wholesome, hearty & real. All in all pretty good, and clearly an established institution with the locals.

I look forward to our excellent coffee every week. Always consistently good, friendly staff, very relaxed atmosphere. I would rate the coffee in the top 3 in Newcastle, and I am a coffee snob 😁
