We attended for a birthday celebration with 10 persons fitting in comfortably. The group chose to share the Banquet, which was a great choice being able to try a wide variety of the speciality meals. The groups favourites included the char-grilled squid, Orange Duck and the Lamb Shanks. The other meals were all of good quality, with the first few... More

Arrived at 7.20pm on a sat nite without a booking. Seated us after a bit of a jiggle. Tapas and specials menu awesome. We shared 4 plates then my partner had a dessert and coffee to finish. Everything we had was lovely. Wine and beer great also from south america.. Service second to none. Will be back. 😊😊😊😊

We are here last night and it was spot on! I'm a chef and been cooking for 25 years.. the meal was perfectly executed. We had the Buffalo Mozzarella salad, the olive oil and sherry vinegar dressing was extremely tasty. Mushrooms were not overcooked and perfectly seasoned.. the addition of fresh lemon juice with the wedge on the side was... More

Good tapas, great paella and fast service, at times too fast and we had barely finished a plate of tapas until another one landed on our crowded table.

Spent a day in Newcastle and we can not decide where to eat. We ended up choosing Bocados since our palate is more of that Spanish taste. Food: it was delicious. We have beef cheek which was made really soft and delicious. The Paella was good; bbq squid was marvellous and my most awaited was the chorizo, which i liked well.... More

Have eaten here twice - the second time to make sure I wasn't being critical. Ambiance and service is good but food lacks flavour - any real flavour not just Spanish - and just doesn't stand up to its local competition. Paella, being such a traditionally Spanish dish, was particularly disappointing and for $36 a very small portion to share.

Nice meal and good service from friendly staff. Wine list is ok. Having said that, I like Australian reds & NZ whites, so maybe a little harsh on the wine list.

Had dinner for two the other night. Excellent service, shared a tapas, paella and desert. Tapas and desert was lovely, but the paella we found pretty ordinary. Was disappointed in our choice.
